4L60E Build Strategy - 425 HP Street Strip (F-Body)

In this video, I detail my build strategy for a 1996 Camaro Z28 used in a street strip application. I take you through parts selection, tips and pointers as well as inspection tips for building a street-strip 4L60E behind engines making between 375-500 horse power. The discussion includes upgrading the hydraulics, including the pump and valve body, tips for modifying the valve body for more demanding applications, spacer plate orifice resizing/shift calibration as well as blocking off the 4th accumulator in the case. I start with the basics then move into parts selection for the case, including the 3-4 clutch pack, forward drum updates for 1982-1996 700R4s and 4L60Es along with a couple of recommended lube flow improvements.
