4L60E High Performance PT8 - Transgo HD2 Shift Kit

I install a Transgo HD2 shift kit into a 2005 4L65E and take the viewer through an overview of the kit, covering each part and component along with its function and purpose. I also touch on alternative methods or mods that can be done to achieve the same effects where applicable. Then, I do the installation step by step, installing shift it parts into the valve body, separator plate, pump assembly, forward drum, servo and both the 1-2 and 3-4 accumulator. I also include some bonus footage covering the assembly of a Superior Tech Super Servo which is what I ultimately install into the 4L65E. Since the Superior Tech servo doesn't use any parts from the Transgo kit, I also assemble a factory servo step-by-step. Additionally, I discuss mechanically calibrating your shifts for performance and touch on all the considerations that you must take into account when making decisions on shift feed and/or band release orifice sizing and offer tips and pointers on complementary parts selection that mesh well with the HD2 kit. In my humble opinion, this is the best overall shift kit on the market for the 4L60E family of transmissions. It’s incredibly versatile and adaptable to just about any application from waking up a daily driver to all out race or heavy duty towing/hauling.
