6 suspects arrested after Chermside armed robbery

Queensland Police released dramatic footage of several arrests following an alleged armed robbery at a jewellery store on Gympie Road. The suspects, armed with hammers and metal bars and wearing masks, smashed glass cabinets and stole a large amount of jewellery. A 38‑year‑old employee was struck in the head with a hammer and was treated at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for serious head and facial injuries.
