A BEAR RAVAGED THE HUT! HE TORE OUT THE DOOR AND TABLE!

A bear destroyed one of my favorite huts, tearing out the door and two tables, eating all the canned food, and making a mess. I was on this hike with Tatyana Gordeeva, who came to visit me in the Siberian taiga. When we went to the hut, we already knew it had been destroyed by a bear, as I had spoken to its owner the day before and we had promised to clean it up. The owner warned us that the bear might still be there, but that didn't stop us.
