Afghanistan’s Most Risky Region: My Experience in Panjshir

In this episode, I travel to one of Afghanistan’s most talked-about regions, the Panjshir Valley. The marks of war are still visible here. Under Taliban rule, I show why the valley is so significant and how it has become a symbol of resistance. I passed Taliban checkpoints, spoke with local people, experienced post-war life firsthand, shared communication struggles with Taliban members, interviewed an Afghan who tried to cross illegally into Turkey, and learned firsthand about the dangers and challenges at the Turkish border.
