Animation Demo: Spider-Spider

Hi, I’m back with a personal test. Finally have some time to animate this quick sketch. I sketched it for the old Inktober 2023- day 2. The initial plan was a lot simpler (to do in 1 day), but then I had to stop the challenge for the deadline. So now, when bringing it back, I push it a little further and have lots of fun with this piece. I usually animate in Moho and then composite them in post. So most of camera movement won’t be across a wide range that much while working on characters. The normal scenes are usually smaller. But this time, I had to work on a very wide scenario to have enough space for those spiderman fly. And it turns out to be very satisfying. Working on those big swings to curve a nice arc at the right timing, quickly pan camera in a wide shot, draw those fbf text/effect (though it still looks a little clumsy lol),... Feel like drawing my own comic page, and they start moving by themselves, not my animated puppets. It’s not the most polished one, but I really enjoy this trip. Was just finished it at 5 A.M here =)) C&c are welcome, as always. The sound effect definitely needs more work. And here is the credit for this animation.
