Around 47 people were injured in an incident on Tuesday, largely due to gunshots fired by the Israeli military, when thousands rushed into a new aid distribution centre in Gaza, according to a senior UN official. Ajith Sunghay, the head of the UN Human Rights Office in the Palestinian territories, told reporters in Geneva that about 47 people have been injured.
