I'm a trained specialist in ear cleaning, all things to do with getting stuff out of the ears.

So here at the clinic, what I'm gonna be doing is using some of my kits.

Some of my high-tech equipment solutions.

Well, by any chance, just to get a bit of an indication to know if you're a person that makes a common mistake, do you by any chance use like Q-tips or those little cotton buds?

I see, yeah, you shouldn't be putting those in your ears.

If anything, it sort of pushes wax back into the canal, so, you know, it should be fine.

I'm sure we won't really, you know, have any problems, but I'll take great care of you today, all right?

I'm just gonna get all my equipment and we'll get right to it.

That is, of course, my number one priority with all my clients.

Okay, well, if we're ready to get started, let's just go ahead and I'm going to take a very brief, quick little preliminary inspection of your ear canal, okay?

close to your ear canal and just take a little bit of a gaze.

Make sure that it's nice and clean.

Frankly, I don't think we have anything to worry about.

You look like the kind of person to keep your ears nice and tidy.

All right, let's just get through it, I guess.

It's gonna be a quick thing, I think.

I need to inspect this a little bit closer.

When was the last time you cleaned your ears?

Well, look, no worries.

I got my work cut out for me, clearly, but it's all good.

I'm gonna go ahead and get rid of everything in your ear.

That's the call, at least.

Wow, this is down bad.

This is really, really serious, okay.

I'll be using, I have some very state-of-the-art tools that we're gonna be basically using to take out any of these particulates.

And that really should be fine.

All right, great, I also have here a ear pick.

I can turn that on, you can see that there's a little light there.

And that will basically guide me throughout your ear canal to

rid of anything there okay all right so um i think the first thing we should do is we can either go about this two ways one is we can just try to take out the wax but i don't really recommend this because we don't want to injure your ear canal right so the best thing to do is to soften up the wax initially okay

is a very specialized solution.

And what I have here is a ear pipette.

Okay.

Now this solution will essentially, I wouldn't say decompose is the right term, but it's going to soften up the wax essentially.

So that way when I take it out with the ear pick and my other tools, it'll come out a lot easier.

Work certainly got out for me this evening.

This has to be one of the worst cases I've ever seen.

All right, so I'm gonna go ahead and just start putting in this solution, inserting it into your ear canal.

I'm gonna grab the toothpick here.

Actually, I'll grab my pin light here just to provide me with some light when I do this.

Okay, so I'm going to let that solution just dissolve into the earwax.

Give that a couple of minutes just to really soften it up and we'll get started.

Wow, this is quite the patinky winky we have here on our hands.

Goodness.

We're just gonna let that dissolve.

And whilst that's dissolving, I'm gonna just prepare my kit right here.

As you can see, we have an assortment of tools that will help us.

to get rid of that wax, so let's get to it.

All right, I'm pretty sure we're ready to start, so let's get to it.

I'm gonna try to grab the top part up here, just like that.

Oh boy, yeah, it looks like the solution has started reacting with the earwax, making certain parts a little easier

the surface if I can.

I don't know how many years it would have taken for this sort of debris to build up in your ear canal, but clearly it's been a while.

All right, so I'm just going to use this pick to sort of scrape from the very back of the ear canal to the surface right here like this.

Sort of pull it together just like that.

Oh boy.

Alright, looks like the solution has reacted pretty well with the wax.

So we're able to make up some progress around here.

See how it sort of just melts on the surface.

exactly what we are sort of aiming for, to be honest.

Okay, I'm gonna just scoop it up, scoop, scoop, scoop.

This is just the bottom part of the ear canal.

It isn't really the top part that we're even, or the walls.

Just going for this early part.

Well look, it's always best to have some wax in your ear because it acts as a mechanism to protect you from infection and

outside debris so i think what we'll go ahead and do is just leave a tiny bit in there it's good not to totally clean it out but i think looking pretty good excellent stuff very good okay so let's take a look in this ear now hopefully it's not as bad as the last one oh all right okay so we seem to have a completely different issue going on here

Looks like there is some debris clogging up this left ear.

Doesn't really look like earwax though to me, so this is a little bit interesting.

Looks like we have some strange lanky wires almost stuck in your hair, so let's see if we can fix that up.

So I'm just going to go ahead and go in here and just, you know what, I'm going to grab my light here.

Let's just grab out the strain.
