Baltid | Anthropological types of the European race

Baltid is the most common anthropological type in Eastern Europe. For some time, it was not noticed, being mixed with Western or Eastern Baltids, but it soon turned out to be a separate, stable complex that constitutes the majority among the Russian, Belarusian and Ukrainian peoples, and also dominates among such peoples as Mordovians, Karelians, Latvians and Lithuanians, part of the small Finno-Ugric peoples and many others.
