Belorussky Station (4K, drama, directed by Andrei Smirnov, 1970)

The heroes of the film part ways at the Belorussky railway station in the summer of 1945, when the first train of front‑line soldiers arrives after the victory. A quarter of a century after the end of the Great Patriotic War, the fellow soldiers meet at the funeral of their friend. Peaceful life separates them, but the friends retain a sense of front‑line brotherhood, mutual assistance and humanity.
