It's time to move on from focusing on 1-3-5's (triads) to focusing on every other note (2's, 4's, 6's, and 7's). In Part 4, we will map the fretboard with every possible note available to us in music. We will first do this in a Lead context, and then in a Chord context in Part 5. However in order to do that we have to revisit triads one more time, because in a lead context we actually have multiple ways to play triads, as opposed to just the single Chord shape for each inversion. These are the 3 lead triads that will give us access to these chord tones in a bunch of locations. 1 - Intro, Where We're Going (0:00) 1 - Three Lead Triads, 1 bass (3:37) 1 - Three Lead Triads, 3 bass (8:35) 1 - Three Lead Triads, 5 bass (12:25) 1 - Three Lead Triads, Summary (14:23) 1 - String Skipping (15:23) 2 - How To Practice, Visualize (18:22) 2 - How To Practice, Know the Notes (26:02) 2 - How To Practice, All Shapes off a Note (28:43) 2 - Outer Strings (34:23) 2 - 2 and 7 to Bridge Gaps (42:16) 3 - Chord Types, Minor (47:38) 3 - Chord Types, Sus (49:48) 3 - Chord Types, Dim (53:54) 3 - Chord Types, Aug (57:25) 4 - Examples, Simple F Progression (58:39) 4 - Examples, "Little Wing" (1:08:34) 4 - Examples, "Hotel Cali" (1:12:57) 4 - Examples, "Best Part" (1:18:41)
