China's foreign ministry says it is "deeply concerned" over deadly clashes between Cambodia and Thailand, which mark a dramatic escalation of a long-running border row between the two neighbours over an area known as the Emerald Triangle. Thailand has launched air strikes on Cambodian military targets while Cambodia has fired rockets and artillery, killing at least 11 civilians.
