Couple Turns Abandoned Shed Into Cozy Home | Full Renovation by @project.restoration

Project Restoration found an old church from the 1800s. It stood alone with broken windows, tired stone, and weeds growing through its past. Before they could bring it back to life, they needed shelter, so they took the shed beside it and turned it into a home. The shed was completely stripped back: they leveled the floor, framed new walls, added insulation, and reused as much original material as possible. Every part of the space was built by hand, from the doors and skirting boards to the custom coat rack and kitchen installation. They installed a log burner with a flue, added carpet to the mezzanine, and fitted lights, sockets, and a full bathroom. But this build isn’t the end goal; it’s a starting point, a practical space that lets them stay on site while they take on the bigger project ahead: bringing the old church back to life.
