Serene heavenly sounds from the grass steppe, soulful songs that request for nothing in return. Daiqing Tana, a singer from the Taijnar tribe of Mongolia, is a member of the HAYA band. Quansheng, a Mongol national and horse‑head fiddle player, is the music producer and founder of HAYA. He has served as executive director of the Chinese Musicians Association and the Horse‑head Fiddle Chinese Society, won the 19th Golden Melody Awards for his album Wolf Totem, composed soundtracks for films such as Black Horse and Riding Alone for a Thousand Miles, led goodwill tours across Europe including the Golden Hall of Vienna, and is an associate professor at Central University for Nationalities.
