After the enemy shelling, 63 strike drones launched the enemy on Ukraine that night.

The PPO worked in the east, south and north of the country.

Minister of Defense of Germany Boris Pistorius arrived today in Ukraine.
About details of his visit and about other events in the world is ready to tell our international viewer Daniel Tkiye.
Daniel, I greet you.
You have the floor.
I greet Nina.
Today we will talk about the visit of the Minister of Defense of Germany to Kyiv and about preparation for the summit of the Great Seventh in Canada.
The Minister of Defense of Germany Boris Pistorius came to Ukraine with an official visit.
The head of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation met with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
The leaders reached agreements on additional investments in the defense industry of Ukraine and Germany.
As a result of the talks, Pistorius said that Berlin would provide Kyiv with additional military assistance of 1.9 billion euros.
The money is aimed at the purchase of long-range missiles for Ukraine.
In general, the German military aid to Ukraine this year will grow to about 9 billion euros.
At the same time, Boris Pistorius excludes the possibility of providing Ukraine with long-range cruise missiles Taurus.
Meanwhile, the heads of Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Albania, Serbia and representatives of other countries took part in the Summit of Ukraine-South-Eastern Europe.
The participants of the summit confirmed the European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine and the countries of the region.
said that membership in NATO remains the best option of security for Ukraine.
In addition, allies announced additional support packages for our country.
At the same time, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, confirmed that he did not sign the declaration of the summit, because, according to him, he did not want to betray Russia.
In addition, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, met with the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The head of the Ukrainian state informed the head of the Greek government about the course of negotiations on the achievement of a just and stable peace.
In particular, he shared his views on the pressure on Russia that may force it to end the war.
The leaders paid close attention to the needs of Ukraine to protect against Russian shelling.
And here is a special representative of the President of the United States on the issue of Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, who noted the efforts made by the President of Ukraine to achieve peace.
Kellogg personally told Trump, I quote, we did not have an American president from the time of Abraham Lincoln, who would have done what President Zelensky did.
President Zelenskyy is waging a war for the survival of the nation on his land, and this is what Lincoln did.
He fought on his land for the survival of the nation and national sovereignty.
In his words, the United States sometimes does not see this, because they do not put themselves in the place of Ukrainians and do not understand how to get out of this situation.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Mark Rubio made a different state.
He congratulated the Russian people on Russia Day.
According to him, the United States plans to continue to support the Russian people, which preserves the desire for a better future.
The official once again confirmed the desire of the United States for constructive cooperation with Russia for a lasting peace in Ukraine.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sebiya has already responded to this statement.
He said that he was not pleased to read the greetings of some countries to the Day of Russia.
I quote.
As a minister of a country that is at war, this morning it was unpleasant for me to read the greetings of some countries to the Russian aggressor.
He added that he has the moral right to say this, and also noted that there can be no reward for the aggressor's country.
We move on to the review of the authoritative Western publications.
Bloomberg news agency reports that the Big Seven does not plan to announce a joint statement on the meeting next week.
And all in order to avoid conflicts with Donald Trump.
The leaders refused the joint statement in order not to break up with Trump.
The G7 state, on the other hand, publishes separate joint statements.
Thus, the allies want to weaken the tension in relations with Trump.
As you know, the West must visit the President of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelensky, the head of the Ukrainian state, is waiting for a personal conversation with Trump.
Zelensky plans to talk to Trump on the issue of imposing sanctions against Russia.
The President of Ukraine wants to reach an understanding of how close the United States is to imposing sanctions against the Russian economy.
The Politico publication reports on Ukraine's recent statement about Trump's policy.
In particular, in a personal interview, Zelenskyy noted that he is convinced that Russia is simply lying to Trump.
According to Zelenskyy, it is Trump who has the power to end the war.
He also said that Trump sees that the Russian side is not quite honest about the war.
The President noted that Russia can only win if the West leaves Ukraine.
In his opinion, the US exit from the negotiations would be a perfect scenario for Putin.
That's all I have.
Next, Nino, your turn.
Thank you, Daniel, and we continue the main task with the news about our response to the enemy.
The forces of defense of Ukraine attacked the plant in the Moscow region, reported to the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
The enterprise produces printed plates and electronics that the occupiers use during the manufacture of high-tech weapons and equipment.
Meanwhile, in the Headquarters of Intelligence, the name of the destroyed million-year-old occupier was named.
He was born in the Kamchatka region, a military officer of the Pacific Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
We, the soldiers of the active action unit Hurem Okrakin, have the honor to tell you that today, on June 11, 2025, a symbolically million-year-old occupier was destroyed.
Thank you for watching!
Thanks to a 15-year-old schoolgirl, they prevented the terrorist attack in Ivano-Frankivsk.
The Security Service of Ukraine blocked the attempt of the FSB to blow up a homemade explosive device in the central park of the city, reported the ministry.
The girl came to the chatbot in time, burned the FSB officer and told about the intentions of the occupiers.
to recruit her to carry out a terrorist attack.
Thanks to this, he managed not only to prevent her, but also to document the entire process of her training, from recruiting a schoolgirl to trying to undermine her.
A Russian special service employee, who offered money in exchange for cooperation, came to the girl's messenger.
In the course of the operation, the law enforcement officers found out that, according to the occupiers' instructions, the underage woman was supposed to make SVP, reinforce it with gaiters and hide it in the thermos.
In order not to arouse suspicion among the women, the FSB curator instructed her to collect the explosion in the rented apartment.
Later, the Russian specialist informed the underage woman that she had to deliver the SVP to the city park at the peak hour, when there would be the maximum number of people there.
At this moment, the FSB planned to remotely detonate the explosion together with a minor agent.
Thus, the russians hoped not only to kill as many civilians as possible, but also to liquidate the perpetrator as a false witness.
The drone can perform combat tasks in any weather, in sunsets and even in strong winds, hits heavy armored vehicles and delivers the necessary equipment to the position.
Until the end of 2025, it will be possible to sign a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the form of a reserve plus.
This was announced by the deputy minister of defense from digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko.
In addition, a smart contract will appear.
Before signing such a document, the candidate will undergo a standard procedure of recruiting, submitting applications, a meeting.
After everything is agreed, the contract can be signed immediately on the phone.
And the location where you can join the Defense Forces in Lviv is increasing.
This week, the Halytska 80 is opening its own recruiting center in the city.
And in the studio of the head of the day, Ihor Zopkiv, sergeant-manager of the 80th separate assault brigade of Halytska, good evening, glory to Ukraine.
Good evening, glory to the heroes.
The BN-80s have been prepared since 2014, and since the first days of the full-scale fight against the enemy in Kharkiv, Donetsk and now in Kurshchyna.
Why did you decide to open a recruiting center right now?
Because I think that at the beginning we had a tendency in 2022 that there was something, there was no one to fight.
Now we have a completely different tendency.
We have something, there is no one.
And the mobilization resource, the human resource, as the so-called...
And in order to encourage our younger generation to live on this land with their families, to protect their family, we need to liberate our land from the occupants.
Therefore, we proposed and made such an experimental project as the 1824 Contract.
The paratroopers are called the elite of the army by chance.
Marunov will be taken by anyone who does not dress.
You perform the most difficult tasks, often behind the enemy's back.
And this requires special military training and psychological training.
Who do you consider to recruit through the recruiting system?
What is the need and what are the vacancies?
Or, in fact, as they say, everyone is needed?
Yes, of course, everyone is needed, but all motivated people, physically prepared and morally strong.
Therefore, as the TCK system is possible, as everyone is afraid to go to TCK, to apply, we will create, tomorrow we will open a new recruitment center, and in the future the possibility...
People come to Recruit a new center, fill in the application, understand that the whole system works much easier, or call us on the number of the phone, which is on the official website of the 80th.
Therefore, in the future, this person will be sent
Partly in order to establish a pass-through control, that is, physical training, communication with our medical staff, and also to undergo some psychological tests.
And at the moment, by the way, they are already undergoing military training in the city of Zhytomyr, 16 military personnel under the contract 1824, which we recruited in two months of this experimental project.
Therefore, tomorrow we are all waiting for the opening of our center.
We will continue to communicate and cooperate.
Lviv is not the first in the list of cities where your recruitment centers will be.
Zhytomyr was the first.
Zhytomyr is a general assault recruitment system.
Our 80th is the first recruitment center from the 80th brigade.
But there are our representatives who work in five regions of Ukraine.
This is Ternopil,
This is Volhynia, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Rivne region, where our representatives are, with whom you can directly connect, bypass the whole TCK system, if a person is afraid, and they will have a conversation with them and then cooperate where they need to move.
What are the criteria for a recruit to refuse if a person addresses your center?
What should he or she consider?
Well, in the first place, this is health, because we need health professionals who do not have any problems with health, so they go through the military-medical commission in any way, this is guaranteed, after that they set its level of efficiency and already...
We will determine his physical training.
In terms of physical training, this can be added every time, because we develop with each day.
And this is possible for everyone.
And the main thing is to be psychologically and morally strong.
Because, you know, the war.
There are different moments with people in the country.
And I think people will understand.
More about the vacancies.
What kind of plan do you need?
Who do you plan to hire?
If we take the system of 18-24, we have all the vacancies of a shooter, a grenade launcher, an assistant shooter, a sniper, then a paratrooper and a sniper in general, which are now available.
If a person wants some other position and she is somewhere between 18 and 24 years old, we can offer her an alternative.
This is a three-year contract.
because there is a larger range of positions.
Similarly, a person who just wants to come and go for mobilization, of course, can come to us without addressing the TCK, directly to the Recruitment Center, and we will already have a conversation with her and will guide her further actions and tell her.
The 18-24 contract has already been mentioned more than once.
If I'm not mistaken, you signed your own contract with the brigade in your 18 years.
Now it's a separate program where volunteers can join the Defense Forces for a year.
There are corresponding bonuses, there are different nuances.
And the ground troops report that after the program was extended to the 18th brigade, the number of volunteers is increasing.
What is the demand in this category up to 80% now?
And did this initiative justify itself at all?
The initiative about the contract justified it as a reform for TCK, because people are afraid of this system.
And now, most of all, people, I think, will pay attention to our recruitment in the new center, and there will be more influence on people.
So, I think, this alternative is appropriate, and...
As for the 18-24 contract for this age, did this initiative justify it?
This initiative justifies and justified itself, because before that the young people were not like that and did not know about it, and now I do not know what motivated them, maybe some financial support from the state, or maybe some benefits, but people left.
They left not in the amount they would have liked,
in order to renew and replenish the ranks of our 80s, but in the process we will take care of the fact that there were more.
How is the guidance of the candidates who turn to you and turn to the recruiting center?
That is, the algorithm is step-by-step.
A person comes, then there is a conversation, or what?
The person comes to us, to the Recruitment Center, or directly to us, and submits an application.
We familiarize her with the contract, we tell her about all her conditions, about payments, because everyone thinks that a million is paid at once, but there are three parts that are divided.
The first part is after 5 days of signing the contract, when the contract is signed.
The second part is equivalent to participation in hostilities.
It's 300,000.
And the last part, the third part, is paid during the termination of the contract for these terms in the signed contract.
And it's paid 500,000.
But I think that our people mostly follow the idea, so for them the motivation will be just to become a part of the legend, a part of the history for us and in general for 850.
This is an opportunity to be really involved in something big and significant, not only within our region, because it is the Gala 80, but also within the entire country and beyond its borders, because now, at least in the last period, the 80 destroyed the enemy on its territory in the Kursk region.
If we talk about recruitment, this system began to gain momentum a year and a half ago, maybe two days ago.
In an interview, a member of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Oleksandr Fediyenko said that the majority of military formations did not use recruitment at all, and it plays a role in the mobilization process, but only in separate units and on a limited scale, and it is the TCK that will remain the main link.
in the process of mobilization.
For a year, if I'm not mistaken, you have worked in the equipment center, now you are engaged in recruiting.
Is it possible to become an alternative, or is it more likely to complement the traditional system of mobilization?
On the one hand, he is capable of becoming an alternative, and on the other hand, mobilization is just an addition, and maybe even a replacement of that system, because people want to go voluntarily now, mostly.
They don't want...
All of these questions scared them away from TCK, from all the people from the bossification, and in the end, people are afraid.
Maybe our forces and all the forces of different brigades, which are engaged in recruiting, we will be able to change it to increase the number of soldiers in our territories.
Because it's important.
It's important for the motivation to appear, and for the level of motivation to appear for the people who really need it now.
And TCK, in the future, it's their job.
It's according to the plan, they do their job.
All the guys there are in combat after being wounded, I know that personally.
And I'm against them, I'm always only for them, because they do the job
They need to provide a mobilizing resource, because people are a mobilizing resource that we need now, and each of us needs it.
First of all, the thesis is that the system needs to be reformed in order to increase efficiency, to reduce the degree of tension in society, because it is there, and it is heated up by Russian propaganda, which uses this tension in the information war against Ukraine to maintain the supply of the armed forces of our state.
In such conditions, tensions at the front will also improve the mobilization process.
What can we do?
I think that we won't be able to change the ITCK system, because it has always been stuck in people's minds.
So, to improve something in this regard, to add, to change in some plans, yes, but to completely change the opinion of people is unrealistic.
Therefore, we will try to change this system of recruitment according to the fact of our mobilization in the country.
Despite the severe injury, you lost both legs during the hostilities.
You did not leave the Armed Forces of Ukraine, you remain in this system, in the Defense Forces.
And for you, perhaps, the question of why it is worth joining the defense of your country, the answer to it is obvious and understandable, but what would you answer to those for whom this question is not so obvious?
Well, for them, my contribution to the Armed Forces and to the country is not important at all, so let them just look at me and think why I stayed.
I stayed specifically to motivate those people who have lost their hands and think that they are already exhausted and they can't do anything.
Human organism and human mind are created to constantly develop.
That's why people have to move forward quickly and only forward.
For our country to be free, for our families to live in peace and for us to live in peace,
We need to be motivated people.
I want to be a motivation for everyone in life in the future.
Not only in the military, not only in some sport, but also just in life.
Therefore, I think people will understand.
As for the motivation, today, a colleague of a journalist, now also a serviceman, Pavlo Kazarin, wrote on his Facebook page that the phrase that sounds in many people's mouths,
In other words, those who wanted to serve, they are already serving, as far as motivation is concerned.
And I will quote his quote, that's why recruitment is not a way out.
Today, he provides 5% of the total army's need in people.
And if you haven't worn a uniform for the last three years, it's only because someone wore it for you earlier.
And every time you demand that TCK be similar to SNAP, you just want the mobilization process not to touch you.
That is, on the one hand, there are those who are motivated to serve, those who wanted to serve are already serving, but on the other hand, there is statistics.
Today, the General Staff revealed that
The losses of the enemy are millions.
These are, of course, both sanitary losses and direct deaths, but there are more Russians physically.
And only by replenishing the mines, we can break, break the course.
How do we, in these conditions, when people seem to be motivated to fight, but they end up finding this motivation?
Well, sooner or later, the war and in general the service will touch everyone, everyone will serve.
I think it will be one hundred percent, because the resource is running out, the state may adopt some laws to serve everyone, but maybe give some motivation to people in terms of some kind of insurance, in terms of some kind of financial support, because now, unfortunately,
Well, everything depends on money for some reason.
But there are people, for example, say that you didn't go, and instead of you signed faster, or the contractor went for mobilization and put on a different uniform, his time will come, he will go.
If he didn't go a year ago, two years ago, three years ago,
Because he will be touched by this war in any way.
And in the end, he will serve.
I think that people will return from abroad, like ours.
And the younger generation, which is now, in principle, either finishing their studies or studying, maybe there are many people who study specifically to go with education, to gain education, to come to the Armed Forces.
I think this motivation will be, first of all, an incentive to defend the country.
We've talked a lot about men, but are there, for example, vacancies for women, and are they joining the recruitment system now?
Of course, many applications come from women, calls, because from young girls, in general, 18-24 years old, these are children
I want to join the Law of Armed Forces.
For example, we have Elia, who became a member of the 80s in 2022.
So I fully support her.
We have a lot of intelligent, combat-able units with girls, with servicemen, who serve and show at the level with everyone, at the level with boys.
for everyone there will be work, so tomorrow, yes, there will be an official opening for everyone who is ready or who is still hesitating, but wants to try where to address, what location, if possible, to address the market square, honestly, the address will probably be the market square
The Sinkin Center itself.
The Sinkin Center itself will be on the market square tomorrow.
You can see it around 12 o'clock, around 11.30, 3.12.
There will be an opening, so we invite everyone.
Thank you for this conversation, thank you for the position and for the thorough assessment of the situation.
Ihor Zopkiv, a veteran recruiter of the 80th separate assault brigade of Halychka, was with us at the start of the main day and we talked with him about recruiting to the glorious Halychka 80th.
Improve defense capabilities, ensure civil protection of the population and environmental safety of territorial communities.
These are the main principles of the work of the new training and testing complex in Lviv.
At this training ground, our soldiers can not only test defense equipment, but also control ecosystems.
This is the first poligon of anti-mine activity, environmental protection and civil protection in Ukraine.
In the forests of Lviv, our soldiers are testing modern equipment.
On this territory, we can test ground and aerial unmanned aerial vehicles.
In addition, we can test machines of mechanized demining and various mechanisms.
In addition, we can test various equipment here.
Equipment for the protection of sappers, equipment for the search and detection of explosive items.
This is a training ground.
The training ground was designed to exchange experience between people who already had the opportunity to demine, a training center, and all innovative equipment that can be tested.
up to 1 tonne, more than 1 tonne, with all possible
The representatives of Ukrainian companies were able to test their own developments in new conditions for them.
At the moment, we see the Termit, the name of our NRK.
It is already legendary, it has been used in the army since 2022.
It can be a full-fledged combat unit for the army on the front line.
It can also perform logistical tasks, whether it is to transport the BK, it can carry the wounded.
A lot of work was done on the equipment for demining the territory, as well as for the safety of the sappers.
Its productivity is 10,000 square meters per hour.
It can control the front and destroy explosive objects, ammunition.
This is a technology that allows you to control the vehicle remotely, up to a kilometer away, and this machine ensures the safety of the sappers.
First, the robot drives.
And then, as they say, the sapper enters the safe zone.
And this mechanism visualizes the sapper track without obstacles for the signal, as when the enemy uses a RAP.
This is what the satellite recorded.
That is, when we entered under some kind of barrier or where there were some obstacles,
But if you remove the satellite signal and show only what the camera sees, you see, we enter
We are the manufacturer of super-strong protective mods for Starlink, which are made of high-molecular polyethylene and monolithic polycarbonate.
They withstand fragments, they withstand damage to FPV, and they even withstand the transition of the tank.
And we have also developed portable stations of satellite communication for Starlink-mini and for Starlink-3.
What is important, an ecological laboratory has been opened at the site.
This is how the group of ecological control works here, which checks the quality of the soil after demining.
There will be no waste processing plant in Lviv in the near future at the enterprise where the schedule of its opening was placed.
I remind you, in the past, city officials promised that the objects from the processing of solid household waste on Plastovia will begin to operate until November 1, 2025.
However, it seems that due to the investor, they say in the Lviv City Council, these terms are already unrealistic.
The opening of the plastic waste processing plant has been postponed.
This information has now been announced at the session of the Lviv City Council.
We remind the representatives of the contractor, and this is a Polish company, promised to complete construction on the facility by June 30, 2025.
By June 30, the equipment will be assembled, and by November 1, the enterprise will be launched.
However, such schedules are no longer available.
There were suspicions according to the signed additional agreement with the contractor.
Project decisions and project documentation were not given to us in time.
Accordingly, it pulled the deadlines for the delivery of the object into operation.
The inhabitants of the part of Sykhovo have been supposed to return it for the seventh week without hot water supply at the beginning of June, but on the calendar there are already 12, and there is still no water.
In Lviv, Teploenergo explains that in order to have hot water in the apartments again, it is necessary to replace almost one and a half kilometers of the old hole pipe with a new one.
Due to constant floods, the replacement process is delayed, as the dug pipes are flooded.
According to the schedule, this area should be replaced by June 30.
We plan to put ourselves in the schedule.
Maybe we will be able to do this work a little faster.
Therefore, we apologize to our consumers.
But the replacement of this area will give us the opportunity to avoid such long shutdowns of our services in the future.
From July 1, fines for drivers will not be increased.
This was reported to the patrol police of the Lviv region.
At the same time, a number of Telegram channels published a message about an increase in fines for violation of traffic rules several times.
But this information is not true.
No changes in the legislation have been approved.
A new house for the internally displaced people was set up in the village of Halytska in Zolotivshchyna.
On the territory of the Halytsky Professional Agro-Technical College, a part of the dormitory was repaired.
All VPO volunteers will live there.
Natalia Klimenko, together with five children and her mother, came to Lviv from Skadovsk-Kherson region.
The city, which is located near Crimea, is now under occupation.
For two years, the Russians did not let their family leave the territory controlled by Ukraine.
However, the family managed to escape from the enemy.
We went through Russia, through the city, through those five regions, we went to Kolotilovka, and there they were already walking to us.
But my husband was left there, he was not released, because it was necessary to decide who to go to, children or me, and my father remained.
Now the Klymenkiv family lives in the village of Halytskyi, Lviv region.
Here in this dormitory.
Although for a two-room room with a kitchen, Mrs. Natalia will only pay for utilities, the money, she says, is nothing.
Our family receives 14,000.
We receive VPO, assistance.
That's all.
Nothing more than a month.
What do you need?
To eat, let's say.
Sometimes humanitarian assistance is provided.
But it's very rare, let's say.
And so we survive as much as we can.
The five-story dormitory belongs to the Halytsky Professional Agro-Technical College.
The part of the building where the VPO lives was restored at the expense of the donors.
This room is very good and was fundamentally restored and set up at the expense of the VPO, at the expense of the taxpayers of the European Union, for which we are, of course, sincerely grateful.
The cost of repairs and equipment is 2.5 million euros.
More than half a hundred apartments have been renovated, in which up to 170 people can live.
We have an agreement for 10 years with the school that people can live here, internally displaced persons.
And they will live here until they need it.
The next settlement of the Zolochiv region, where they plan to renovate dormitories for VPO needs, may become a new settlement.
In the local budget, the money for such reconstruction of buildings is not enough.
Therefore, the community hopes for partners from abroad.
An all-season mountain resort will appear in Lviv region.
Its construction is for a third.
The state will finance it.
This was announced by the Lviv regional military administration.
A rest complex will be built in Slavskoe.
There will be ski routes with artificial snowing systems, gondola and chair railways, as well as infrastructure for guests to live here.
At the same time, they will be able to accept up to 5,000 skiers and over 500,000 guests per year.
Also, the resort guarantees 25,000 new jobs.
The number of volunteers to enter the chemical, technological and bioengineering faculties has decreased by more than 70% since the beginning of the full-scale war.
According to data for 2023, for example, every fifth graduate chose.
and only every 135th biotechnology.
Then, as such specialties are already needed now to take care of the health of Ukrainians and, without exaggeration, save lives, so that pharmaceutical faculties are more attractive to young people, private companies together with educators jointly develop initiatives to popularize the field.
This is the topic of our next conversation.
In the main studio today we have Roman Lesyk, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical, Organic and Bio-Organic Chemistry of Lviv National Medical University.
Good evening.
Good evening.
Mr. Roman, recently you were in this studio in the company of great, most importantly, very smart teenagers, who in their 16-17 years of age are ruining stereotypes about the youth's passivity to science and, in particular, to pharmaceuticals.
We understand that this may not reflect the overall picture in the state.
So, do you really see a decline in interest in such specialties, for example, in your university?
And what factors could influence such a trend?
Thank you for the very important question.
In fact, I do not see a decrease in the interest.
I have already talked about it on the previous broadcast, I was at the competition of the Academy of Sciences.
In fact, we have very fantastic children, we have fantastic youth who can really change this direction in the future in our country.
However, when it comes to pharmaceuticals and educational pharmaceuticals, unfortunately, we are experiencing a difficult situation, which is related to various factors.
Why are we not getting potential graduates?
Or are there not enough of them?
Well, first of all, the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine itself is quite complex.
It is divided between big players, between big companies, and each company is a state in a state.
Accordingly, somewhere I see and feel that the rights of pharmaceutical companies are limited.
And due to the fact that we do not have a normal public pharmaceutical society,
It is quite difficult to develop as a pharmacy in Europe, for example.
We have a very cool organization, the Pharmaceutical Chamber, which is led by a pharmacist who is trying to raise the role of a pharmacist, unfortunately.
Their efforts are led by the famous pharmacist Oleh Klimov.
Unfortunately, their efforts are quite difficult, because it is difficult to fight against the great giants that are the networks that have now filled our country.
Accordingly, what is today's pharmacist?
This is a person with great duties, with great knowledge.
But, unfortunately, not with such a large salary, and it is forced to be a banal drug seller.
The second problem is very important, it is an educational problem.
Unfortunately, as for me, there are too many facilities in Ukraine that prepare pharmacists.
of the late Soviet Union, we had three such institutions.
It was Kharkiv, it was Lviv, and it was Zaporizhia.
Now there are more than 50 of them, and even during the period of the war, seven more such master's programs were accredited in other universities.
This is not necessary, because we have so many arbiters who will go to study.
Accordingly, large universities that have good scientific schools will simply not have graduates, and those scientific schools will die.
And such a situation has a very serious impact on the development of pharmacy.
It also has an impact on educational projects, it has an impact on science, which we will have in the future, scientific developments.
If our scientific schools, which were formed by hand, will simply begin to be destroyed at one moment due to the absence of students.
It's a very complex problem.
Maybe I didn't assess everything, but there are three major problems in the civil society.
The problem with education and the pharmaceutical market.
We have another guest joining us via Zoom.
Dmytro Svenarenko, head of the corporate university of the pharmaceutical company Arterium.
We welcome you from Lviv.
Good evening.
We know that you have created a project that is called upon
to turn the situation around in a better way, so that interested educational institutions can get interested in the graduates, get involved in pharmaceutical specialties.
We will talk about this a little bit later.
Mr. Dmytro,
At first, according to the analysis of the Work.ua portal, medical specialists and pharmacists found themselves among the professions where the number of vacancies has increased the most in the last three years.
At first glance, it may seem that the situation in the market of work in this area is improving, but despite the fact that the number of vacancies is increasing, this impression is wrong.
The website analyzes that there are not enough specialists, that it is impossible to close the vacancies as quickly as before, and they just hang, pile up.
How critical is the situation?
And why is it already important for the state to talk about the deficit of pharmaceutical personnel in the future?
Good evening.
Thank you for the invitation and such an important question.
Indeed, the situation you just described is primarily related, as we know, to the demographic situation we are currently experiencing.
According to the State, we have about 7 million refugees, of which 64% are working people of working age.
And in the last three years, according to the same data in the UAE,
The market has recovered so much, the market demand has reached almost 100% before the war.
However, due to the fact that we have such a large flow of personnel, we do not have the opportunity to close these vacancies, so they just appear, just hang and they do not have enough personnel at the moment.
As for whether it is important for the state to react to the current situation, in my opinion, pharmaceutical production is one of the strategic ones, because...
foreign foreign
over a certain period of time, and this can lead to the ability of the country to provide itself with quality medical equipment, which will affect the health of our population.
You have developed such a business project for teachers, and 54 teachers from 20 higher education institutions of our country took part in it.
What is the essence of the idea?
Why such a division?
And how can teaching teachers help to involve more young people in the pharmaceutical sphere?
We have been cooperating with higher education institutions for more than 10 years, but in the past it was more focused on students in younger and older courses.
Since 2023, considering the fact that we have a full-scale war, we have already understood what it can lead to, in the sense that there will be a drop in the number of personnel, and our branch will also be under threat.
Therefore, we began to analyze the introduction of the campaign, and if we take, for example,
One of our specialties is pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical pharmacy.
In 2021, there were more than 80,000 applicants from all over Ukraine, and in 2024, there were more than 1,000.
And the teachers are the people who, in the first place, can influence the popularization of their own specialties and the development of the brand as a university, as well as their departments and faculties.
The main idea was to raise this popularity and show potential students
How interesting and promising will it be, given that we have been teaching teachers, sharing knowledge with them about how to build a brand, how to popularize what you do, using modern methods that are currently used in business?
Mr. Roman, there is a great burden on the lecturers now, and it turns out that we have to invent various ways to lure, to give for such a formulation, to the specific specialty of potential scientists, pharmacists, but perhaps it is worth playing
It is worth playing even more to advance, to involve more young people in such specialties, and to start from school, so that science is interesting, to create various laboratories, so that students study physics, chemistry, biology, not with their fingers, but with real examples.
We know such a real example of the winner of the Global Teacher Prize in Ukraine, Larysa Romanyshyn, from Skola, it would seem a small town, but the project of her students, who studied the synthesis of hydrogels in the conditions of microgravity, was evaluated by NASA, and then it flew into space.
How to motivate both teenagers and already young students, and how to do it in the conditions when some states lack the funds to create such laboratories?
In fact, it is a very important question, and it is not for nothing that you asked about finances.
Indeed, in the first place, pharmaceutical science needs to be financed and look for opportunities.
For example, I am a university professor, and I believe that it is necessary to create such conditions so that our professors can fight for grants that are announced in order to attract their funding to universities and, in fact, to create such laboratories.
Definitely, it is necessary to work in advance, definitely, it is necessary to work with young people.
This can be, for example, again, we are referring to this small Academy of Sciences, because there are a lot of talented young people who stand on the sidelines when choosing a profession, especially in our region and throughout Ukraine.
It is very interesting to involve them and work with them.
We, in fact, are doing such a project at the Lviv National Medical University.
A molecular design center has been created.
Now we are working on creating a laboratory exclusively for school students in order to prepare the future staff.
In fact, the staff problem is
in our universities, even among professors, I have already talked about it, for a lot of universities.
Accordingly, in my opinion, it is better to have several strong means of science than to spread them all over Ukraine, where there will be one scientific leader.
This is too little.
Therefore, it is obvious that it is necessary to work in advance, to involve young people, not young children, even in scientific projects, this is possible, but for this, of course, there should be
well-equipped laboratories with proper safety, so that they could work under the leadership of either aspirants, assistants, or even professors.
This is very interesting.
I think this is one of the opportunities for the development of pharmaceutical education, which is not in the same state as it used to be.
And then there will be another challenge for all these educated, educated specialists to be detained in Ukraine, so that they do not go abroad and work in Ukraine.
Mr. Dmytro, you also have a question.
How can the state and the business, educational institutions, cooperate in this direction, so that young people are really more interested in such areas as pharmacy and really stay to work
for these specialties here in Ukraine?
Thank you for the question.
I consider our Business School to be a successful case, because it was visited by the Deputy Minister of Education Mykhailo Vynnytskyi.
It is considered a very positive manifestation of the state's interest in such projects.
and where he answered the questions that bothered both educators and shared those trends and perspectives that await the system of our education.
And what was very positive, going back to the topic of our military law, is that in the next few years there will be a refinancing of the order of certain specialties,
And our formation is one of them.
Therefore, I believe that such projects are the means of cooperation between citizens, the state and business.
Thank you, comrade, for this really important conversation, because according to the science of the future, according to the Ukrainians who will develop it too, now these technologies are very needed both in the front and in the rear, and these hydrogel bandages that we saw in the video are already the development of Lviv, Lviv students, in particular, they help the military.
who were injured and, as already indicated, flew with a NASA rocket into space.
In this part of the main tasks about the pharmaceutical world, we talked to Roman Lesyk, a doctor of pharmaceutical sciences and the head of the Department of Pharmaceutical, Organic and Bio-Organic Chemistry of the Lviv National Medical University, as well as Dmytro Svinarenko, the head of the corporate university of the pharmaceutical company Arterium.
Ready for resistance?
The film about the 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade will be shown at the documentary festival War in Objective.
The screenplay tells about the creation of the Lviv Brigade, its battle route and its participation in the most important operations.
The director is Akhtem Seytablaev.
You can watch the film on June 15 at the Officers' House, at the beginning of the 14th.
The entrance is free.
And about the music that unites one of the most famous national music festivals, the Ukrainian song marked its tenth anniversary.
Over the years, this project has become a start for dozens of young artists and a place of strength for already well-known performers.
Even in the most difficult periods, during the pandemic and the full-scale war, the project did not stop sounding.
This year's anniversary concert in Lviv gathered almost 7,000 viewers.
Enjoy Ukrainian music, I put a dot on it.
On this air of the main task, take care of yourself, without anxiety and at night.
See you.
The goal of the festival is to open new names and popularize our music in Ukraine and the world.
We give the opportunity to the European stage, we open names, and we hope that these names will further fill the space with cool Ukrainian music.
Cool Ukrainian music was played today in the accompaniment of the symphony orchestra Big Show Orchestra.
Traditionally, the concert was divided into two parts.
First, young artists performed.
Young performers who presented the competition, these are incredibly strong voices and good potential for the future.
After that, there was a concert hall for the participation of professional performers.
Vasyl Zinkevych, Valery Kharchyshyn from the second-year band performed on stage.
How so, says the orchestra and other talented and famous artists.
The Ukrainian song carries the spectators on a journey through the decades, from the first chords of the Red Root to the modern hits.
Sing, my son.
Suddenly, the Lviv storm did not scare the visitors of the festival.
They sang in unison.
People have come together, they are all in sweaters with umbrellas, they stand under one another and sing songs.
Ukrainian music is alive.
As Staslav Ukrchuk said at a concert when I sang with him, the generation is changing and Ukrainian music is eternal.
I was very pleased, I was waiting for it, and most of all, I was not surprised, everything was very cool, I really liked the accompaniment of the symphony orchestra.
Vasyl Zinkevych was just, I think, a legend of Ukrainian classical music.
This is my Ukraine, a new day is coming.
I am very impressed, especially when I saw Vasyl Zinkevych's performance, I was just in emotions.
It was worth coming to this event.
To become such a star, for the first time, it is very valuable, when the Ukrainian song unites.
The best thing that sounds is the Ukrainian language, the Ukrainian song, with those views, with those ups and downs, which are in the state.
And I want everyone to understand that their should be closer, warmer and kinder to their heart.
Modern hits, songs of decades and music of recent years, which inspired, helped to survive difficulties and gave joy.
All this was combined in one evening.
Ukrainian song.
The name itself, Ukrainian song, already obliges us to come and support the performers.
