Elden Ring Nightreign has a variety of classes to choose from, but the Revenant is a bit of a standout.

This Ghostcaller is the second and final hidden class, and this video will show you exactly how to unlock her.

Before you can unlock the Revenant, you must first unlock the Duchess.

We have a full guide just for this, but here's the quick version.

You need to defeat the game's first boss, Gladius, or keep trying until you get the old pocket watch as an expedition reward.

It's a guaranteed drop when you win the fight, but otherwise, you'll need to keep going at it until the pocket watch is given to you as a random reward.

Once that happens, talk to the hooded figure by the titular table in Round Table Hold.

She'll reveal herself as the Duchess, and that class will be unlocked.

Once that's done, a new item will be available at the Smalljar Bazaar in the hold.

Go and purchase the Besmirched Frame for 1500 Merc.

You should definitely have enough if it took you a few tries to get the pocket watch.

like the old pocket watch this frame is another relic but more importantly in this case it will cause a ghost to appear in the hold if you speak to it you can teleport to an arena and challenge the revenant to a duel be warned she has three spirit ashes that join her for the fight this is a four-on-one battle

One way to even the odds is to go in with a ranged character like the Iron Eye, letting you pick off the ghosts from a safe distance.

Go for the sword fighter first, then the giant skeleton.

You can go after the slow-moving pumpkin head after that, then save the revenant herself for last.

Be wary of her spinning discs of light.

They have a long reach and will need to be dodged quite often, even if you're fighting from a distance yourself.

Once you defeat the revenant and her ghosts, she'll be unlocked as a playable class.

Let's wrap this up with an idea of what you can expect from the Revenant.

Her main ability is to summon those ghosts you fought in the duel, although you can only summon one at a time.

On top of that, her passive ability makes fallen enemies rise as temporary allies.

Whenever you're fighting a big mob or clearing a camp, you can expect one of them to rise back up and fight for you for a little bit.

Then there's her ultimate, a ghostly scream that does a little AoE damage and protects the party.

This icon will appear under everyone's health bar, and as long as it's there, no one will actually die.

Fatal blows will instead take the party to 1 HP.

It doesn't last forever, but it does come in clutch.

And with that, you know all the steps to unlocking the Revenant and the Duchess to boot.
