Geranium-2 drones of Russia. Production and review

The program "Military Acceptance" showed the Russian plant for the production of drones "Geran-2". The plant was built in 2023, in the special economic zone "Alabuga". The plant in Yelabuga is constantly increasing production, presumably already producing from 30 to 50 thousand drones. Now the drone "Geran-2" is modernized and its production is completely localized, with the Iranian UAV "Shahed 136" it is connected only by the shape of the body. Engines, microelectronics, GLONASS / GPS correction modules, "Kometa-M" antennas, optical-electronic guidance sensors, fuselage, wiring are already being produced in Russia. The main innovation in the new drones is the optical guidance system, thanks to which the operator can control the drone. For this, SIM cards of mobile operators are used, in the future, Russian satellite Internet. Drones can also exchange data, including with the Gerbera UAV. The drone weighs 200 kilograms and is launched from a catapult using a solid-fuel booster, at a range of up to 2,000 kilometers. The drone's warhead weighs up to 90 kilograms, and its flight altitude is up to 4,000 meters. The drone is equipped with a 50 hp engine and reaches speeds of up to 180 km/h, with a flight duration of up to 12 hours. The price of the Geranium-2 drone is presumably from 20 to 50 thousand dollars.
