Golden Calf, episode 2 (4K, comedy, dir. Mikhail Schweitzer, 1968)

Based on the novel of the same name by Ilf and Petrov, the film follows Ostap Bender, a fraudster and adventurer known as a "great schemer" who claims to know "four hundred relatively honest ways of taking money." Determined to fulfill his childhood dream of seeing Rio de Janeiro, Bender plans to borrow wealth from the underground millionaire Koreiko, who modestly lives on the salary of a simple employee.
