hello YouTube Steve here and today I'm gonna show you how to make a 12 volt battery charger with a regular 19 volt laptop battery charger okay to do this project you need a module it's a DC to DC step down module and you need two alligator clips and a multimeter you can find some useful link in the description below you can check that out okay let's get started now you need to cut down the jack
now carefully remove the outer cell of the wire do it carefully now two wire is exposed the black one is negative and the red one is positive
now connect these black and red wire to input of the module black one go to negative and red one goes to positive this side now connect two alligator clips red to positive and black to negative
now plug your adapter to main line you will get our green led over here now just turn on your multimeter to voltage tc voltage ok now just connect negative to negative and positive to positive of your multimeter
now set the voltage to charge your battery you can see two potentiometer over here one is current and one is voltage let's find out which is current and which is voltage this one is current no this one is voltage i set the voltage to 14 volt
is very close to 14 it will be okay now go to your multimeter and select ampere now set the current with this potentiometer I will go for 2 ampere
