Husband of Colorado woman Suzanne Morphew re-arrested 3 years after charges were dropped

Barry Morphew, the husband of Suzanne Morphew, who went missing on Mother's Day back in 2020 and whose remains were found in 2023, has now been arrested again and charged with first-degree murder.

A Colorado grand jury indicted him after earlier charges were dropped due to prosecutorial errors.

Suzanne's autopsy revealed that she was killed by a sedative cocktail used to tranquilize wildlife.

Though no signs of trauma were found, a tranquilizer gun was discovered in their home.

Barry has maintained his innocence, and his lawyers criticize the renewed case as flawed, the Associated Press has reported.

He previously sued officials for $15 million over alleged rights violations.
