I don't care! This is the best scene of the century

A video essay about a brief and inconsequential little scene from "The Shape of Water" and why it's the best of the century. Strickland (Michael Shannon) is idling around a Cadillac dealership. A car salesman (Dan Lett) starts pitching him a limited edition quality model that's not green, but teal. That's it. This little moment gives a lesson in persuasive, concise writing and effective, invisible directing. Guillermo del Toro won a well-deserved Oscar for the film. The screenplay was co-written by Vanessa Taylor.
