I saw a post on TikTok from a woman yesterday talking about how, since COVID, she’s lost her ability to feel deeply. She said she feels flat and lacks the drive she used to have. She doesn’t really feel like doing things anymore. It’s not depression, just like the blahs. I definitely have a little of this. Not to the extreme that she mentioned but things don’t seem to bring the same joy anymore. I don’t have the drive to get dressed up and do things like I used to. I’d rather stay in my sweats in my home with my animals. And that does bring me peace and comfort. There were a few thousand messages on that post from people all over the world who said they felt the same way. It was so sad reading those posts but really helped seeing that so many people felt the same way. I made this video last night about it. You can see her post at @reparent.yourself.
