ICE agents arrest and release New York City Comptroller

New York City Comptroller and mayoral candidate Brad Lander was arrested by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in the halls of New York’s Federal Plaza Immigration Court on Tuesday, June 17. Video filmed by a member of Lander’s team shows Lander repeatedly asking if the agents have a judicial warrant and to see it as agents attempt to drag away a man with whom Lander had linked arms. In the video, Lander can be heard saying, “I will let go when you show me the warrant.”
