Irina learns her husband is leaving her. She does not want to believe that the reason is in her, and suspects that Vladimir has another woman. This happens on the first day of her work in the new department, where she meets Yulia. Yulia tries to hide her worries about the fate of the missing employee Oleg Kachalov from the newcomer, but Irina immediately realizes that these two are not just colleagues. Goryachev, the head of the department, extinguishes the emerging conflict, sending Yulia and Irina on a joint mission: a man has been killed in the yard of the house. Operational actions lead the partners to the flat, to which, according to the guard, the killed man came. It is obvious that the murderer is one of the spouses, but the husband and wife, one by one, take the blame for the crime.
