Did you know Kojima already knew Konami wanted to fire him?

That's because in his last game, Metal Gear Solid 5, he was already kind of sensing that Konami was planning to cut him from the company.

There's even a part in the game where, if you shine a light on the Metal Gear titles made by Kojima, they disappear.

But if you shine it on the games he didn't make, the logos stay, and the character even says there's nothing special there.

That basically symbolizes Konami erasing his legacy from the series.
