Description:

Heavy logistics is our profile. We are working to break their logistics, but we ourselves are suffering from it," says Yevhen Dudka, call sign "Rugby," commander of the RUGBY TEAM of the 129th separate territorial defense brigade, which is fighting in the Kursk region and, like other Ukrainian units, is facing the fact that the Russians are trying to encircle the Ukrainian group on Russian territory. "They are trying to strike from the flank in order to cut off the military contingent," Dudka explains. Specifically, they split the Ukrainian group on the southern part of the bridgehead by entering Kurylivka (Kursk region) and came close to the Yunikivka—Sudzha road, capturing Novenke and Basivka (Sumy region) in the north. "If on some directions we hadn't seen any equipment for a long time, here the equipment came in so much that we needed enough resources to hit it," says Dudka. At the brigade's positions, the Russians are actively trying to reclaim the territory controlled by the Defense Forces. UAV operations are complicated by the terrain—elevation changes and very dense forests. However, the pilots attach ammunition to the hexacopter "Vampire," and it flies to destroy Russian infantry and equipment.
