In this video, we connect living moss to our bionic arms - letting bioelectrical signals control their movement. Inspired by @sowthecity’s *Rewild Moss Side* project, this piece explores the hidden power of moss and its role in South Manchester’s ancient landscape. A vast mossland once stretched from Moss Side to Rusholme to Chorlton (where this video was filmed). Moss has been thriving for over 400 million years and mosslands store more carbon than any other UK habitat. They also hold vast amounts of water, helping to reduce flooding.
