Mossberg 590 Bullpup | 1980's | 8+1 12ga. 20" Barrel

Starting in 1983, Mossberg offered their 500 & 590 shotguns in a Bullpup chassis, the two Bullpups were practically identical. Except the 500 had an 18" barrel with a 6+1 capacity, while the 590 was a bit longer with a 20" barrel, 8+1 capacity. Their production proved to be too costly, it ceased in 1995. Towards the end, they offered the Maverick 88 Bullpup shotgun, which differed in appearance to the 500 & 590 Bullpups.
