Queens of the Stone Age, the Californian rock band led by Josh Homme, became the first group ever to be officially authorized to perform in the Paris catacombs in 2024. The historic permission led to an EP and a film in 2025, capturing the acoustic renditions of their songs in the subterranean setting. In 2025, the band returned to the Cabaret Vert festival in Charleville‑Mézières on Saturday, August 16, to perform their eighth studio album, In Times New Roman, with full electric instrumentation. The show was filmed for the ARTE Concert series.
