Robomart, a Los Angeles startup, unveiled its new RM5 self-driving delivery robot Monday, aiming to make on-demand delivery profitable. The level-four autonomous vehicle carries up to 500 pounds in 10 lockers, enabling multiple deliveries at once. Robomart’s model lets retailers run storefronts on its app, charging customers a flat $3 fee per order — far lower than traditional delivery platforms. The company plans to launch in Austin, Texas, later this year. Founded in 2017, Robomart previously piloted “stores on wheels” but now sees automation as the key to cutting delivery costs by up to 70%, Tech Crunch has reported. Despite raising under $5 million, it has built five robot generations and now hopes to disrupt the crowded delivery market. read more: 👍 Like this video to stay updated on Robomart’s new self-driving delivery robot and its push to disrupt the delivery industry. 💬 Comment below—Would you trust a robot to handle your orders? 🔗 Share this video to spark discussion on automation and the future of retail. 💰 Support the channel by hitting the YouTube Thanks button, helping us continue covering the latest in tech and innovation. 👉 Don’t forget to subscribe for more updates on robotics, startups, and the future of delivery.
