Speaker 12

Good evening.

You are watching the main thing for the day on the TV channel of the First Western.

I'm Ulyana Lavryk and today we will tell you about the most important events that happened in Ukraine and beyond its borders.

So stay with us and hear the most important news of this day.

So, on the night of the 90th of Shakhedi, the occupiers shot 10 people in Ukraine, 46 more were lost.

As reported by the Air Force, the Russians attacked the front territory.

Several times during this day, the occupiers shelled the Zaporizhzhya region.

There are four dead, as many as there are wounded, the region's authorities report.

Almost a dozen guided air bombs were dropped by the occupiers on a private building.

People were stuck under the rubble.

Two women and two men needed medical help.

One person was killed, another was injured due to a drone attack on the border of the Sumy region.

The Russian occupiers hit several residential areas.

One apartment was completely destroyed, the neighboring buildings were damaged, there was a fire.

This was informed by the State Service of Extraordinary Situations.

The rescuers unblocked the body of the deceased man from under the rubble and also freed him alive from the military animals that were under the ruins.

Now you have seen the footage of how the rescuers rescued the animals themselves.

Two men were killed in the Russian shelling today in Kherson region.

In addition, three men and two women were killed in the regional center and on its outskirts.

The occupiers were attacked by artillery and drones.

Another man was blown up on a mini-pillow in Bereslav.

Local authorities reported about this.

In Donetsk, due to a Russian attack, a woman died today.

As a result of the shelling, the fire occurred in a five-story building.

In the basement of the apartment, the rescuers found the body of the owner.

In total, seven multi-storey buildings, two cellars and an administrative building were damaged.

The process was reported to the DPR.

Four people were injured today in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The enemy shelled the front territories with artillery, drones and guided air bombs.

This was informed by the region's authorities.

Five private buildings were damaged.

Another one was completely destroyed.

Also, 40 solar panels were damaged.

Ukraine used the drone for the first time on the basis of artificial intelligence.

This was reported by the Minister of Digital Transformation Fedorov, who shared a video.

The so-called drone Matka delivers two striking FPV drones at a distance of up to 300 km, and they are able to autonomously find and hit targets from aircraft to PPO and critical infrastructure facilities.

Fedorov explained that if the distance is up to 100 km, the drone returns back for a second use.

The cost of one such mission is $ 10,000.

To compare, launching a rocket costs at least 300 or even 500 times more.

The SmartPilot system uses visually inert navigation, it is oriented with the help of cameras, and the artificial intelligence automatically recognizes and chooses the target.

Papa Rymsky, Lev XIV, is worried about new mass attacks on the territory of our country.

He wrote about this in his address on the X network.

He also called for the end of the war and support of any initiatives aimed at dialogue and establishing peace.

With the report of international news, we continue the program «Golovne za deň», so I give the floor to my colleague Daniele Tkije.

Daniele, I greet you.

The air is yours.

Speaker 25

I greet Ulyana.

Today we will talk about the new statement of the US President Donald Trump and about the possibility of imposing sanctions against Russia.

US President Donald Trump said that he was disappointed by the actions of Russia, by the fact that the Kremlin is attacking Ukraine during the negotiations.

At the same time, Trump still doubts that Putin is deceiving him.

I quote.

We will find out whether he is deceiving us or not.

If so, we will react differently.

But it will take about 1.5-2 weeks.

Trump said that Steve Vitkov is doing a phenomenal job and is making very decisive negotiations.

As you know, Trump has already said three times during the last few months that he needs two more weeks to determine whether Putin is ready for peace.

And the US Secretary of State Mark Rubio talked on the phone with the head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Sergei Lavrov.

Rubio congratulated the exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and Russia and called for a constructive, good-natured dialogue between Russia and Ukraine.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Johann Wadifull, after communicating with Rubio, noted that in the event of further refusal of Putin from the truce, the appropriate measures will be taken.

And Ukraine demands from Russia to immediately hand over a memorandum with conditions for ceasefire.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rostem Umerov, said that Kyiv handed over its position to the Russian side regarding ceasefire.

According to him, Russia promised to hand over its document immediately after the end of the exchange of the captured, which ended today.

We urge the Russian side to immediately fulfill this promise and stop trying to make these talks destructive.

Diplomacy should be flexible, and a new meeting should have results.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sebiya also said that Russia should immediately hand over its memorandum, and not wait for a meeting on Monday.

Quoting, we expect that the Russian side will not disrupt the next meeting and will immediately pass its proposals to our consideration.

In particular, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said about this.

Meanwhile, Putin's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, noted that telephone conversations between Putin and Trump are not planned yet.

Peskov added that if necessary, a conversation with the US President could be agreed as soon as possible.

In addition, the dictator refused to comment on what conditions for ceasefire Russia would issue in its memorandum project.

The official also called the almost unconstructive demand for Ukraine to immediately hand over the Kyiv memorandum.

According to Piskove, Russia almost proposed to hold a second meeting in Istanbul on June 2.

The next meeting in the format of Rammstein will take place in the headquarters of NATO next week.

Great Britain and Germany will lead the meeting.

As you know, Turkey and Belgium have recently set out to join the Drone Coalition, which operates within the framework of the Rammstein format.

The head of the Latvian Ministry of Defense, Andriy Sprut, noted that the countries-members of the joint format have already contributed about 180 million euros to the joint purchase fund run by Britain.

Meanwhile, the German Chancellor, Friedrich Merz, does not exclude giving Ukraine cruise missiles Taurus.

He said this on the air of the CDF TV channel.

According to Mertz, this is possible.

The chancellor also clarified that it will take several months to train Ukrainian soldiers.

The transfer of the Tavros system, in particular, in half a year or a year, will not benefit Ukraine, Mertz noted.

Regarding further sanctions against Moscow, the chancellor said, I quote, everything that can be done on a safe legal basis is possible and possible.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the U.S. President Donald Trump has seriously considered the possibility of imposing sanctions against Russia.

The head of the United States is considering the possibility of new sanctions against Russia, in particular, the announcement of this decision this week, as it will irritate Russia's attacks on Ukraine and slow progress in negotiations.

This is reported by sources from Trump's entourage.

At the same time, the sanctions will not spread on the banking operation of the Russian Federation.

Thus, the United States wants to force Putin to act.

At the same time, Trump, according to the sources of the publication, may decide not to introduce new sanctions against Russia.

In addition, Trump generally needs peace talks, and he can get out of this diplomatic process.

The publication also describes three main reasons why Trump has been distracted from sanctions against Russia for so long.

First, Trump does not like Volodymyr Zelensky.

Secondly, Trump is afraid that sanctions will harm the restoration of economic ties between Russia and the United States.

thought that Putin would do him a favor and end the war in Ukraine through good personal relations with the heads of state.

At the same time, Putin's unwillingness to compromise was very disappointing for Trump, as the dictator refused to stop the fire as a result of the last telephone conversation.

Elon Musk is leaving Donald Trump's team.

Associated Press writes about it.

As journalists note, Musk often interfered in conflicts with other Trump administration officials, who, in particular, did not like the methods of work of Musk.

In addition, some members of Trump's team doubt the results of Musk's work on shortening the government's irrational losses and reducing bureaucracy.

In addition, recently, Elon Musk himself criticized Trump's new bill, which provides for the reduction of taxes and strengthening of immigration legislation.

Musk said that the document only increases the federal deficit and undermines the work of the so-called Department of Government Efficiency.

And to conclude our review of the press with political material, the edition writes about the new problems of Donald Trump with the law.

The Federal Court of International Trade, the United States, recognized tariffs imposed by Trump against almost all countries of the world as illegal.

Colleagues from the three courts of the federal court unanimously approved a decision on the recognition of Trump's unconstitutional decrees on the introduction of customs to import, in particular, goods from many countries of the world.

The court decided that Trump exceeded his powers,

According to the American Constitution, only Congress has the right to install tariffs on imports from other countries.

The White House spokesman has already criticized the decision of the court and said that the Trump administration filed an appeal.

That's all I have.

Next, Ulyana, your turn.

Speaker 12

Thank you, Daniel.

We continue.

The main thing for today.

We continue our ETR with local news.

In the Lviv region, they are starting to actively extract gas and oil.

All pre-agreements for this are confirmed by participants of the already 20th International Oil Conference.

New Folk, the current event that took place in Lviv, is dedicated to geology, geophysics and mining services.

Speaker 17

According to gas reserves, Ukraine belongs to three countries of Europe.

According to this indicator, we only deal with Norway and the Netherlands.

The cost of Ukrainian soil is more than 600 billion cubic meters.

Speaker 21

Donald Trump, in order to be energy independent, you need to drill, drill and drill again.

If we talk about Lviv, more than 80 fields have been dismantled, now several are in the stage of scientific development.

We hope that new fields will be found.

Speaker 17

According to statistics, more gas is produced in Lviv than consumed.

In addition to gas and slag fields, there are many oil fields in the Lviv region.

So many companies, and not only Ukrainian ones, invest in the production of fuel in the western part of Ukraine.

Speaker 22

Unfortunately, the eastern oil and gas region has developed even more in Ukraine, but in recent years, the interest of state and private companies has been more directed to the western region.

In the western region, it is a kind of cradle of the oil and gas sector in Ukraine, and there are still quite a lot of unopened deposits, underestimated deposits.

Speaker 17

By the way, the largest deposits in the west of Ukraine are located within the borders of the Carpathians and the Carpathians.

Only in the Lviv region, almost 100 fields of oil and gas were discovered.

Speaker 12

Two schemes in Chelyabinsk were discovered in Lviv region.

Local agents helped the escapees with fictitious medical certificates and escaped abroad.

This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.

The services were taken from 4,500 to 16,000 dollars.

Speaker 11

In one of the schemes, the 27-year-old resident of Rava Ruskoi produced fictitious medical documents that allowed potential patients to leave Ukraine under the guise of people who accompanied the seriously ill relatives for treatment abroad.

For this, Fiorant used his connections in a local oncology medical institution and guaranteed the military officer to produce a package of documents for his wife about the oncological disease in her.

Such a service cost US $ 16,000.

Another figure, a 26-year-old organizer, put the escapees as drivers in a transport company that transports humanitarian and international cargo.

For his assistance, he asked for $4,500.

Speaker 12

Temporary restrictions for trucks will take place in the Shagyni checkpoint.

Repair works are being started there.

This was reported to the State Border Service.

Transport will be formed only in one direction, both for entry and exit from Ukraine.

Border guards add that the repair will last for a long time.

Therefore, drivers are asked to calculate this information when planning routes.

and the elite car for almost 3 million hryvnias tried to illegally enter Ukraine.

This is reported by a Lviv smuggler.

A 44-year-old Chinese man in a Lamborghini arrived at the Ugriniv checkpoint in Dolgobychiv.

He gave documents that the driver of the car is a company from Lithuania, and the owner is a Ukrainian enterprise.

However, these data turned out to be false.

According to the submitted smuggling declaration and the relevant documents,

The seller of the vehicle is an American company, and the owner is a driver himself.

According to this fact, they have already filed an admin protocol.

And in order to make it easier for parents with children under 3 years of age to park, special signs have been installed in Lviv's Leo parking lots.

You can already see them on the 7 streets of the city, and soon they will be installed on two more.

Parking is free.

Such an idea has been proposed in the City Council so far as an experiment.

However, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is already considering such an initiative and preparing a relevant bill.

Speaker 20

In the quality of the experiment, now any car, if there is a small child, can park.

Now there are no consequences that he will be fined.

Do you understand?

This is an experiment.

If the Verkhovna Rada accepts this law in the appropriate reading,

And this will be legal.

Then it will be clearly determined how the car should be identified.

It should have a mark on it.

And it will be the duty of the driver to mark this car with the appropriate mark so that it can be identified.

And the duty of the parking operator is to mark this city so that it is responsible for this category of drivers.

The city authorities will be responsible for the control of these places and they will carry out a check on the relevant signs.

Speaker 12

The recent statements of President Volodymyr Zelensky indicate the intensification of the situation in several directions of the front, in particular in the Sumy region and near Pokrovsk.

Russia continues to activate its offensive actions, while the Armed Forces of Ukraine counterattack and hold back the enemy.

What are the new plans of the Russian Federation?

What goals does it want to achieve?

And how ready are we, the Ukrainian forces, for this?

We will continue to talk with the military expert Mykhailo Prytulo.

Mr. Mykhailo, good evening.

Glory to Ukraine!

Speaker 16

Glory to the heroes!

Speaker 12

Mr. Mykhailo, how do you assess the attempt of Russia to launch an offensive on the Sumy region?

Yesterday, there was information about it.

In particular, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy even interrupted his visit abroad in order to return to Ukraine.

Speaker 16

I have long expected that Russia would go to a separate front in order to break the situation in Ukraine.

There are not many resources and opportunities left in Russia now.

This is their last battle, as they say.

It is probably the most difficult.

What is the problem?

The problem is that the Russians run out of armored vehicles, which they have been accumulating since the Soviet Union, which was created in the Soviet Union.

We can see from the objective control that they are already going there, banzai attacks on motorcycles, on anything.

But they have one single resource that they can use endlessly.

These are people.

People don't feel sorry for them.

They can collect them and spend up to 5,000 per day, and in this way they can

to collect a certain number of personnel and go on the attack somewhere on any section of the front and open a new section.

That's what they probably did.

I will not say that this is their best option.

If they did it, let's say, a year ago,

then the result would have been much worse for us.

But they lost this year, and the summer campaign this year, they met with a smaller number of equipment than it was.

Well, and the personnel they accumulated, they say that 50,000, I think they can drive more there.

They can do something else, they can start with

and prepare an attack on another part of the front.

Speaker 12

For example, on which part of the front can this happen?

Speaker 16

You know, I am most worried about one of the directions, which was on the famous map of Budanov, which he published on November 21, 2021, which were all the directions, intelligence gave all the directions of the attack, which were effective, except one.

This is the direction from Mozor, from Belarus, in the direction of Zhytomyr, Berdychiv, Vinnytsia, Kryzhopol and then PMR.

That is, this direction was not engaged at that time.

And if they manage to transfer a certain number of troops or gather these troops and throw them into that area, well, we will not be very pleased, let's say.

I am worried about this.

And what they are doing in the Soviet Union, well, of course, this is not good for us, but it is expected.

And the Armed Forces of Ukraine are concentrating their forces there.

But if the Russians start making maneuvers there, sending some troops to Mosul, then it will be dangerous.

Speaker 12

Mr. Mykhailo, if we go back to the Sumy region, what goal can they pursue there?

Is there a plan to repeat the scenario of the same year 22?

Or is it more like stretching our Ukrainian forces in different directions to reduce our defense capability?

Speaker 16

Of course, they want to stretch our forces.

And to open another front, another front that would be, let's say, impenetrable for us, in fact, as this whole war is impenetrable for us.

And the Russians, well, they can open this front, and we know that, as we can see, they always attack where...

let's say, where they have logistical paths.

They don't attack where they feel bad, they attack where they feel comfortable.

In the Sumy region, well, they can gather there, where there is good logistics for them, they go there and work.

That is, quite simple and primitive.

Well, how much they succeed, this is another question, but it all depends on how many people they mobilize.

If they can start mobilizing troops there,

According to his plans, it will not be good.

Or if Putin starts a big mobilization.

That is, a big mobilization is the reserve that he has left, the last goat that he can use.

Speaker 12

Pokrovsky direction.

What is the situation there now?

How many chances does the enemy have to break through our Ukrainian defense?

Speaker 16

As they say, they climb.

Climb, climb, climb.

And they will continue until they are finished.

We see that the Russians measure everything not with human lives, but with square meters.

Well, we see how they destroy our Armed Forces of Ukraine and destroy them quite effectively.

I especially like the 414th BUBAS unit.

This is Ptahy Madyar.

in which, well, in fact, the Russians have no chance to get there.

And since Ukraine has accumulated a huge experience of using unmanned aerial vehicles, it all depends, after all, on how many unmanned aerial vehicles we will have and what means of counteraction to unmanned aerial vehicles we will find.

And here we have an interesting situation from Lviv.

In Lviv, there was the only enterprise that produced equipment that could now be very useful on the front for the fight against drones.

It was your Polaron factory, NBO Polaron.

You know what happened to it yourself.

I think it was a shopping and entertainment center or something like that, right?

Speaker 12

As far as I know, they were building a police station there, but there is definitely no shopping and entertainment center there.

It's just a place for offices.

But it was long before the full-scale war and before the simple war.

In 2014, the plant stopped its existence.

Speaker 16

There was a section called Levkont, which was focused on

strategic things, there was laser equipment, and some other things, which are related to vacuum and augmentation equipment, and it would be very, very useful now.

Well, unfortunately, you see, Lviv said that this is not necessary for Ukraine, and office premises appeared, and the living section was destroyed.

That's when we see that sometimes in 10 years,

It leads to difficult consequences in the future.

Therefore, we must always look ahead and create our own technological base and see how it can be used in the future.

Speaker 12

I completely agree with you on the fact that 15 years ago, when we were teaching history at school, and when we were reading about the war, we couldn't imagine that we would live in such a bloody, cursed and terrible war.

In fact, we will learn from our mistakes, but let's emphasize that now the Poliron plant does not exist, or the enemy did not think that something was happening, so we will emphasize this.

The President said that the Russian… Yes, please.

Speaker 16

He announced the war on April 7, 2008.

He was the Prime Minister, and in Vienna he said that…

who will occupy Crimea and start a war in Donbass.

It was said on April 7, 2008.

The war began then.

Speaker 12

Long before 2014.

That is, the agreement already existed then.

And we see the consequences of all this, we see what it all led to, and what, in principle, Russia is doing with our country.

The President said that, in particular, the occupier wants to enter the administrative border and the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Are there any real arrangements for this, what is the situation directly in this direction?

Speaker 16

I think that...

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

This is according to my calculations.

Whether they will do it or not, we do not know.

But this will not give me any result.

And another question.

Because our partners, when we listen to rhetoric about negotiations, about trying to make negotiations, they say that our partners understand that there will be a difficult summer campaign.

And they are trying to drag Putin into some kind of negotiation process.

And Putin, he believes that he can win and can achieve quite serious achievements on the front.

That's why he is just laughing at our partners, at the US president, at the United States of America.

And he is preparing to make more attack on the Eastern Front.

including to Pokrovsk, to Donetsk, Luhansk oblast.

But the thing is that he tried to do it for the third or fourth year.

So, well, how?

Speaker 12

You know, the logic in the actions of the enemy, I, in principle, have long stopped looking for any of them, I think, like every Ukrainian, but against the background of everything that is happening, Russia pushes, as we say on the air today, in the directions, actively continues to shell our Ukrainian cities, kill our people.

At the same time, there is a message that Russia is again, as it were, inviting Ukraine to negotiations, that these negotiations may take place on June 2.

I'm not going to ask you what the logic is here and how you will see some good news in general, but as for the negotiations, how do you assess, I don't know if it's the right way to put it, the sincerity of these initiatives on the part of the enemy?

Are they really ready to make any compromises at least?

Or is it just a piece of cake?

Yesterday, Kyiv reported that it has already handed over its document to Moscow with the vision of future negotiations.

Now Russia has to prepare its own memorandum with its own vision of these negotiations.

And will the sides meet on Monday, June 2, literally in a few days?

Speaker 16

The sides will meet, but the result will not be anything.

Because Putin uses these negotiations as a platform to declare Ukraine and the Western world another ultimatum.

And nothing more.

But we remember that he announced ultimatums in December 2021, before the war, and continues to say the same words, the same ultimatums.

There is nothing to expect from these negotiations.

This is just a demonstration of the fact that Putin is waging a barbaric war.

From our point of view, this is an attempt to show the whole world that we desire peace.

And Putin will use these negotiations to make fun of the Western world and the President of the United States.

That's all.

To expect that there will be some breakthrough or something else.

Thank God that 1,500 people were released.

And this is already a great result.

Speaker 12

If we analyze everything that is happening now, what will it be like in the summer?

Will it be another offensive from Russia?

Will there be any peaceful initiatives, peaceful dialogues, probably?

What is your forecast for the summer?

Speaker 16

What to expect?

It depends on what our partners have already given us and what they will give us.

And what we have and what we will do in return.

Russians will fight.

And this summer will be hard.

But they will fight mainly with special forces and drones.

That's why we see that today there are strikes in the face of Russia with the most unmanned aerial vehicles on the industrial base.

That is, this is already a preparation for the situation.

The summer will be hard.

Speaker 12

The developments are more or less parallel.

Speaker 16

If we have drones from the mother with artificial intelligence, then they will probably appear soon in Russia.

To expect that they will not have something, well, it is not worth it, because they also do not need any complicated equipment for this.

All this can be done with electronics that are used for everyday purposes.

So, well, they will be able to copy something, they will not be able to copy something.

But certainly the civilization moves towards the one who will win in this war, who will be the first to create a counter-drone weapon of sufficient power and sufficient accuracy.

We are talking about laser systems, which, by the way, have already been tested in our country.

We are talking about

This is what will give the advantage over the enemy, because the unmanned systems that we have appear in them, appear in us.

And this is the dialect of the development of military equipment during the war.

Speaker 12

Yes, but what distinguishes us from the enemy is that we stand up to the truth, we fight for the independence of our country, we did not come to them, but they are simply forced to go to war, and this is definitely our biggest advantage, because we stand up to ourselves in the first place.

Thank you for this conversation.

Mykhailo Prytula, a military expert, was with us in this part of the main task.

Last year, on May 29, 2024, a combat medic, a battalion of hospitaliers, a volunteer and a medic, Iryna Cybuh, died.

The girl saved lives at the front, and in the background created a systematic policy of memory.

Iryna wanted the state to spend a moment of respect for all the heroes.

And now she sounded in memory of her all over Ukraine, in particular, her native Lviv for Cheka.

On the field of honorable burials of new heroes came the closest people-girls, as well as participants of the community Vshanui, who continue to create her case.

Now you see directly how it all happened this morning.

At 9 a.m. they held a symbolic action, then they prayed near the graves of the hospital girl and sang the songs she recited.

Irina died a few days before her 26th birthday.

She held the title of Hero of Ukraine posthumously.

On Sunday, June 1, on the day of her birth, the ChekaFest will take place in Shevchenkivsky Gai.

This is a festival of memory dedicated to Irina and the values she conveyed.

The event will generously raise funds for medical equipment for hospitals.

In Lviv, they took one more step towards accessibility and equal opportunities for everyone.

They launched a project called Autoschool Unbarriered.

Thanks to it, people with disabilities will be able to study as drivers in specially adapted conditions.

How does the initiative work?

Who has already become a participant?

We are talking with a guest.

The main guest in our studio is Serhiy Bobra, a spokesman of the regional service center of the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Transcarpathian regions.

Serhiy, I welcome you.

Good evening.

Speaker 26

Good evening.

Speaker 12

By the way, have all schools in Lviv changed their names to non-barrier car schools?

How does this reflect the approach to education now?

Tell me, when did these changes take place?

Speaker 26

The project of barrier-free driving schools provides

training, creating conditions for people with disabilities, so that they can get a driver's license.

And in this project there are car schools that operate on the basis of the University of Internal Affairs.

Such car schools are in seven regions, as well as service centers that can take tests in people with disabilities.

In this case, it is not about all the car schools of Lviv, it is only about one particular car school.

Speaker 12

About one particular car school.

Tell me, what conditions have been made in this car school?

What conditions have been created for people with various violations to make it comfortable for them to study?

Speaker 26

Well, actually, there is a car school in Lviv that works on the basis of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs.

Recently, they received a new car, which is equipped for people with disabilities.

Actually, it has all the technical equipment.

Speaker 12

We are now showing this car directly, right?

Speaker 26

In this video, we show two cars.

This is a car of a driving school, where they will study.

It has additional equipment.

You can see a handle for steering the handlebars and the accelerator pedal under the left hand, under the right hand.

There are also additional steering tools on the steering wheel itself.

At the top, there is a remote control that allows you to control

It is necessary for people who do not have a left or right top end.

There is also an additional device that is placed on the steering wheel and allows you to steer people with a violation of the steering system.

Also, there was a car from the service center on the video.

It is also equipped with manual steering and allows people with disabilities to make tests using the control tools of the accelerator pedal and the handlebar with the help of hands.

In a car school, people can study and work on this car.

On the car that is in the service center, all people with disabilities can work.

Why do we need it, and not only in a car school?

Because there are cases when a person studied in a car school, did not have time to get a driver's license,

And due to some life circumstances, for example, she got into the army, got wounded and lost her life.

And now she needs to build such a car.

Therefore, there are different situations, and the presence of such cars is necessary both in the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and in the car school itself.

We have one car school in Lviv.

It operates on the basis of the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs.

As of today, they have two cars with an automatic transmission box, which are re-equipped for people with disabilities.

They also have one car with a mechanical transmission box, also re-equipped for manual steering.

And there are ordinary cars, in which students of the university study, and everyone who wants can register and study in this car school.

Speaker 12

How long has this car school been operating for people with disabilities?

Speaker 26

The project was launched in 2023.

In 2025, a certain rebranding of this project took place.

Why was it called Unbarriered?

To show that there are no barriers for people in obtaining a driver's license, in studying and in holding competitions.

Speaker 12

Do the instructors who teach these auto schools have any special skills to work with people with disabilities?

I don't know, maybe they go through psychological practice.

Are these the same instructors who worked before in other auto schools?

Speaker 26

These are the same instructors who worked before, because before the auto school, which is now borderless, was actually specialized in teaching students at the university.

Instructors are the same.

They have passed additional training with psychologists on non-borderness.

They were once gathered in Kyiv for such training.

After the training, they received certificates.

But such special skills are not necessary.

In the first place, it is learning to control, learning the traffic rules, how to react to other traffic situations.

But, of course, the instructors of this car school know how to behave with people with disabilities, how to look for special approaches to them, and sometimes they have to take into account the peculiarities that a person has.

Speaker 12

About the specificity of the training of people, how does the training process take place?

Are there separate lessons for people with disabilities?

Is it a general group, or does someone just need specific conditions in the car?

Speaker 26

As usual, this training is divided into two stages.

Theoretical training and practical training.

Theoretical training is conducted both offline, that is, people can come to this training, to a direct lesson,

But it is also broadcast online, and those people who find it difficult to come personally, or they live in other cities, they can take this theoretical course online.

After completing the theoretical test in the service center, they are admitted to the practical preparation course.

Here, the instructors of the auto school are also looking for approaches to choose

The learning time would be convenient for both the citizens and the instructors to organize this learning process.

But in general, the process is similar to any other driving school.

Speaker 12

Is the driving school paid?

Tell me, please, are there any advantages for people with disabilities in a given driving school, in terms of learning in a driving school, in terms of the possibility to learn a practical lesson, or is it the same for everyone?

Speaker 26

In the first place, I want to say that the prices of these car schools are significantly lower than in other private car schools.

Of course, we, as service centers, would not be able to comment on the question of prices, but regarding this car school, the theoretical training course is approximately 1,700 hryvnias.

and about 4,200 hryvnias for a practical training course plus compensation for the cost of fuel.

But these are significantly lower prices than...

Speaker 12

I know that in Lviv there is a driving school where the amount for theoretical training is 8,000 plus.

Speaker 26

Well, of course, setting prices is a matter of private business.

In this case, since the auto school operates on the basis of the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, it has set significantly more loyal prices.

But if we talk about people with disabilities, they also have the opportunity to compensate for this value of education.

through the relevant departments of social protection, or volunteers can also join this process and compensate for the cost of the training.

But since we communicate and know this situation, a lot of guys are ready to pay for their training themselves, because they want to pass it as soon as possible, put the tests in the service center as soon as possible and get the driver's license.

Speaker 12

In order to be fair, I will say that it was announced earlier that the theoretical course can now be taught at home.

That is, for free, you can learn the basics of the theoretical course on your own.

For practical classes, you need to go to the driving school directly with the instructor.

Speaker 26

Of course.

This is the same for people with disabilities.

If they wish, they can take the theoretical course of preparation on their own.

They are also not limited in this.

The only thing is that many people with disabilities really want to take a course in a driving school.

Considering its loyal price, it is better to communicate with an instructor who can explain and explain all the nuances of traffic rules.

Speaker 12

About the success of people who are already studying in such a car school, how many participants have already been studying since the foundation of the project, people with disabilities have been studying in such a car school.

Successful examples, when there is a photo with the rights, and how is the trial process going?

Speaker 26

I can't tell you the exact number of people who are currently studying at the auto school or who have passed the exam, but did not pass the exam.

More than 30 people have received a driver's license after completing all the stages of the training.

There are military personnel who have received severe injuries in the combat zone.

There are a few of our Paralympians.

citizens who have been disabled since childhood.

That is, we have a lot of positive examples and a lot of photos dedicated to the leaders of these participants of the project of barrier-free car schools.

Speaker 12

What are your plans for the future regarding the development of non-barrier car schools in our city and in the cities of our region in particular?

Are you planning to create even more such schools based on private car schools?

By the way, do private investors agree to meet you, for example, to create separate cities or separate courses for people with disabilities?

Is there a consensus with them?

Speaker 26

I want to point out that service centers can't get involved in the work of private businesses.

Speaker 12

They can't get involved, but there is a recommendation, because it's all the same, plus or minus, you cooperate.

Speaker 26

We, as service centers, cooperate with car schools only in the control part.

We conduct accreditation.

Speaker 12

You may not be accredited if private schools do not listen to you.

Speaker 26

Then it will be corruption.

I see.

One more thing I want to say.

Because...

Our regional service center is responsible for three regions – Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Transcarpathia.

Of course, when we communicate with local authorities, we tell them about this project and ask them to create some conditions in their own city for training people with disabilities.

There are positive movements, in particular, one car school was launched in Uzhhorod on the basis of their local university, which also teaches disabled people.

We also have positive movements in this direction, in Ivano-Frankivsk.

There, the city plans to buy a car also for the local university.

so that their auto school can start training courses for people with disabilities.

Therefore, in the first place, now we can communicate with local authorities, and they really go to meetings and wish to create such conditions.

It is possible that Lviv will buy one more car for people with disabilities, for service centers.

Speaker 12

That is, the City Council for the costs of the local budget.

Speaker 26

It is necessary to clarify that service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, when they provide their services, the costs for providing administrative services are transferred to the budgets of the communities.

This is 70% of the budget of the communities and 30% of the budget of the special service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Since last year, only Lviv received more than 40 million from providing administrative services in two units that are on its territory.

We, in turn, ask you to support us and we are going to meet.

In fact, there is a conversation for assistance in the purchase of transport.

Speaker 12

We have known each other for more than a year.

What should be changed or improved to make the training for people with disabilities more accessible, better, easier?

Speaker 26

In the first place, there is a certain limitation.

The project of the non-barrier car schools is focused on the category B, light vehicles.

And, in fact, it is in the plans.

We already have certain work with volunteers.

to provide a school in Lviv with a vehicle in the cargo category, category C. We hope that this project will be implemented in the near future, and people with disabilities will be able to study in the category C.

What would be better?

Of course, I would like to include private car schools in the process of creating conditions for teaching people with disabilities.

They have all the opportunities to run such courses.

Of course, this is the purchase of transport resources, the creation of a material and technical base, but this is in their hands.

Speaker 12

How many private schools are there in Lviv?

Speaker 26

More than 50.

Speaker 12

More than 50 private schools.

I think that if at least 50% of private schools were included,

Speaker 26

Let's say, considering that there is a barrier-free driving school in Lviv on the basis of the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, it meets these needs.

But not the only one in Lviv.

Therefore, in each region there should be such a driving school that would be able to teach.

And these people could not be limited to Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, but could study in their native city.

Speaker 12

at all levels.

Finally, even in the location, we understand that this data training takes place in exactly one location.

And in Lviv, car schools are scattered, located in different locations, in different corners of our city, so it would be more convenient for people with disabilities to get to, for example, where they live, in the area where they live.

I really hope, in fact, that our Lviv private car schools will join this initiative, because

we are all equal and so it should be.

Thank you, Serhiy, for this conversation.

We spoke with Serhiy Bobro, the spokesman of the regional service center of the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Transcarpathian regions.

During the four days in Lviv, you can see three golden balls.

They were won by Ukrainians at different times.

Oleh Blochin, Igor Bielanov and Andriy Shevchenko from the city of Lviv.

The most prestigious awards begin the tour of Ukraine, the slogan of which is the next golden ball is yours.

Speaker 32

First of all, all three golden balls of Ukrainians together.

Lyuyan was lucky to see not only awards, but also their owners, legends of Ukrainian football.

Speaker 18

Not many countries in the world can say that they have three owners of golden balls.

Therefore, once again, we want to inspire our youth.

We want it to be motivated.

And regardless of the fact that we have a war going on, our life is moving forward, we have to do everything to make our youth develop.

Speaker 32

Andriy Shevchenko, a legend of Kyiv Dynamo and Italian Milan, won his Golden Ball in 2004.

And the first Ukrainian to receive this award was Oleg Blukhin in 1975, when he had an incredible season for Dynamo Kyiv.

After him, the second was Igor Bilanov, who received the nickname Raketa or Kuliova Bliskavka and became the owner of the Golden Ball in 1986.

Speaker 24

My golden ball, I already said that I was already here.

And I am very pleased that now everything is united.

I traveled a lot through the regions, and I was abroad, I was in Asia, where else would I not have a golden ball?

Not only should it be Messi, Ronaldo, we need to remember our history a little.

Speaker 32

The exhibition will be held in Lviv from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the square of Rynok-1, next to the Lviv town hall.

The entrance is free.

Speaker 31

A special souvenir line has been developed for the project.

I am holding a ball, which can also be purchased here.

of three owners.

There will also be T-shirts, water bottles, calendars.

They will be sold in our booth in pop-up, as well as on the online site.

And the whole profit will be repaid for the holding of the school ball tournament, which is organized by the Ukrainian Football Association.

Speaker 32

After Lviv, the Golden Balls will go on tour in ten more Ukrainian cities.

And so far, Lviv fans, in addition to visiting the exposition with trophies, have searched in turn to receive autographs from their owners.

Speaker 5

I think they are cool because they are Ukrainians and they all received Golden Balls.

To at least play in some UPL or first league clubs.

I would like them to sign me a ball.

Speaker 4

After four days in Lviv, three new teams can be seen.

Speaker 32

In Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Dnipro, Poltava, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Rivne and Lutsk.

Speaker 12

this story in fact impressed the whole country Natalia Gordiuchuk gave birth to a son after his father died at the front Yuri, a serviceman, thanks to frozen biomaterial and professional work of doctors, the friend was able to become a father even after a terrible loss

What does the medical practice provide?

What prospects does it open for other families of dead soldiers?

Today we will talk on our air.

I want to say that we were supposed to join the doctor Akosher gynecologist, who accompanied throughout this pregnancy.

Thank you for joining us.

Speaker 27

Good evening.

Speaker 12

Maria, let me congratulate you with an award.

I saw it on your Facebook page.

Yesterday you were in Kyiv.

You received the title.

Tell me, would you be better than me for our viewers?

I personally and the whole team are very convinced that the Lviv Paranatal Center is powerful and its management is powerful.

I greet you once again.

Speaker 27

Thank you for the greeting.

This is probably such a pride for Lviv that the representatives of two institutions, Lviv Medical College and Lviv Perinatal Center, were nominated for the Women of Ukraine ceremony and Lesia Vovk became a laureate.

We congratulate her.

And certainly, it is worthy for the teams of both institutions that they are a noticeable work, joint for the result, and the most important thing is that the medical department is provided at a quality, high professional level.

So thank you all for your support, and all your teams that represent Lviv in the information field and bring information and the possibility of medical...

let's say, level of Lviv region for our patients of this Ukraine.

Speaker 12

You are among the finalists of Health and Medicine, in the nomination of Health and Medicine.

Let's vote on this, because once again we welcome you.

About an incident that, in fact, devastated, it seems to me, the whole country.

Because whenever we read that our boys, our servicemen died in the war,

It hurts everyone.

It may not hurt only some honest people, but I am sure that there is no such thing in our country.

When we read about the case that after death the wife managed to give birth, the wife managed to bear and give birth to a healthy baby, this is also the case that upsets each of us.

I am very sorry that now we cannot unite your colleagues from the Rivne Perinatal Center, but what do you know about this story, how this story, in principle,

Tell us, please.

Speaker 27

In general, I would like to say for people who have to own the information about the possibilities of state support for military personnel, in particular, in clinics of complementary reproductive technologies, today there is an opportunity to preserve biological material, both for women and for men.

Why is it important?

It is important that a man or a woman who goes to war, goes to the front line, goes to stressful conditions, their reproductive health deteriorates.

is also important in this situation.

It is not known at what time and at what age it is happening.

Therefore, if there are plans for a reproductive, let's say, family planning, it is important to think about it in advance.

And there is such an opportunity today in the Lviv Perinatal Center for free treatment of this procedure, preparation, freezing of biological material and preservation.

and the procedure itself is carried out according to our protocols that are approved, it is available at all stages, it is done quickly, quickly, with minimal time, but the main thing is that the patients knew

that there is such an opportunity and on January 24, 2025, the government approved the order of preservation of the fence and the order of conservation and this is provided in the budget of 190 million, so

We urge you to approach and approach your reproductive health as much as possible with a strategic view of your future generation.

This is important, because we see that the demographic situation is very difficult.

And the latest data that says, and we even recently published such a note, that 100 women should give birth to an average of 200-210 children in order to improve their demographic indicators.

Today, 100 women give birth to 90 children.

Therefore, it is very important.

Every newborn baby.

It is very important that every woman, every man who has such plans, think about it.

And we, the specialists of the Lviv Perinatal Center, will definitely determine the route and ensure maximum service within the framework of the medical guarantee program, which is currently available in the Lviv Perinatal Center.

Speaker 12

Tell me, please, how does this process of freezing the biomaterial happen?

As I understand, not everyone can use it, not only servicemen or defenders.

Not everyone can use it.

At what time can you keep your biomaterial in the Lviv Perinatal Center?

What appropriate conditions should be met?

How to use this service?

Can the state now fully provide everything?

Speaker 27

For servicemen, it is completely free of charge.

If we are not talking about servicemen, but a woman who wants to freeze her own cells, it is a service that today is not funded according to the medical guarantee program.

For up to 40 years, the medical guarantee program provided

All stages of additional reproductive technologies include embryo transfer, that is, the complete completed cycle.

Where to start?

We need to start with the examinations, which are the corresponding list of examinations according to the order of our routes.

After that, the patient receives the appropriate route for stimulation, for puncture and for embryo transfer.

On average, such a cycle takes a month or a month and a half, if from the moment of the beginning of the treatment.

Therefore, there are very few time limitations.

You need to visit the clinic for the entire period 3-4 times, for a short time, up to an hour.

One day, this function may take a whole day, because it is done under anesthesia.

Therefore, the procedure is clearly processed today, it is clearly provided at all stages of treatment, especially this stage of medication.

In our clinic there are available

Thank you very much.

Thank you very much.

This result, which will definitely bring success, is the birth of a child.

Sometimes the first attempt is negative, many factors affect it.

Therefore, the next attempt may take place without previous stages of stimulation, but only if there is a cryo-freezed embryo, it will be an embryo transfer.

Partially, there is an economy on the cost of the next expenses for the woman, if this procedure is performed within 40 years.

If it is within 40 years, then the patient receives, within a year, if there is no pregnancy, then the second stage of stimulation is also free.

All patients who have such a need for up to 40 years, I encourage you to contact us in advance, because age has a very important importance, because the quality of the egg directly depends on the age period.

Speaker 12

But it is the age of a woman that matters.

I recall that your colleagues from the perinatal center were in our studio, we talked about artificial insemination and said that for men the age is not as significant as it is for a woman, right?

Speaker 27

If it is a couple, a man, according to the quality of the biological material, there is more stock in the woman, there is a very limited age, and up to 35 years, even if the woman is not pregnant for a year,

and start treating, if it is after 35 years, then a woman after half a year of planning pregnancy, if she does not get pregnant, this is also a diagnosis of infertility, and it is necessary to move faster, because the ovarian reserve is quickly reduced, and the quality of the egg cell is also reduced.

In addition, genetic mutations are much greater in older women.

Therefore, such syndromes as Down,

and other genetic pathologies at an older age, there is more than a percent of them, let's say, that a woman may have this mutation.

Therefore, additional reproductive technologies allow one more option to pass.

It is important.

This is pre-implantation genetic research.

When the embryo is pre-implanted,

Embryo transfer tests for genetic diseases.

And this is especially important in the elderly.

When there are not many egg cells, let's say, the embryo can be only one, then it is necessary to test, especially for genetic pathologies, to understand in advance whether this pregnancy has a chance to progress.

Speaker 12

I still remember the conversation with your colleague Spira Natalina, that you can even take a photo of this embryo directly.

This is what, for example, during natural pregnancy, we see in the DNA, but the process of fertilization and what the first photo looks like, this is something magical and unusual.

About the function of freezing biomaterials,

This function is available in the perinatal center.

How popular is it both among military personnel and among ordinary people?

Speaker 27

Today, we have about 40 patients, military personnel, who have passed this procedure and received this service in the Lviv Perinatal Center.

As for non-military personnel, this procedure is also, let's say, available today, but from the second point of view,

According to medical evidence, there are a lot of moments that are provided to a man, so that during the procedure, when a puncture occurs in the woman, he can be absent.

This is work, this is sometimes an urgent matter that cannot be done during the procedure.

Therefore, we freeze the food so that at the moment when we need to conduct the fertilization process, the biological material is available.

Otherwise, this procedure will be ineffective for the woman.

Therefore, from medical evidence, when a person goes to some kind of surgery, and they also plan to have a couple in pregnancy, we also conduct frostbite, and then, perhaps, surgery, chemotherapy.

That is, there are many medical tests where it is necessary to first freeze the biological material, and then start certain stages of treatment.

Because it affects the quality, the number of spermatozoa.

Therefore, if you plan pregnancy, you should first consult an urologist, an andrologist,

And after that, to start the next stages.

And, of course, today the most relevant are the military, who go, do not understand time, stress, re-cooling, various moments that also affect the quality.

Therefore, this option is very important for us to improve the demographic indicators and make services as accessible as possible, regardless of the conditions where the man is and what conditions he is in at one time or another, where he cannot be next to a woman and perform, let's say, at that moment, come to the doctor and perform this or that procedure.

Speaker 12

Mrs. Maria, you said that 40 people used this service.

We saw information from Rivne that after the death of a serviceman, women managed, with the help of frozen bio-materials, to give birth and successfully bear and give birth to a healthy child.

Is this really the first such case in Ukraine?

Have you had similar situations so far?

For example, a person is at zero, or if, God forbid, a serviceman dies, did the women contact you?

Speaker 27

Today, we do not have such reports or cases.

I also learned about this case from social networks.

I would even be interested to listen to the doctors, their stages and, let's say, the legal side of how it happened, because this issue has been raised in public many times and is discussed many times.

Today, at the legislative level, it is possible to make everything as accessible as possible.

And indeed, the medical community, the legal base, now a lot of things are being worked on to make it possible to work out a route that will be understandable for everyone and legally grounded.

Speaker 12

Thank you for the conversation.

Thank you for the explanation.

Maria Malachynska, director of the Lviv Perinatal Center, was with us in this part of the main task.

Nazariy Staranchuk was called a gypsy in the 2nd Galician brigade from the first days of the full-scale invasion.

For his courage in the battles for the village of Urozhaine in Donetsk region, he was awarded the Golden Cross for the history of the warrior.

Speaker 23

Let's watch.

My name is Nazariy, I am called a gypsy.

In school, as it is said, they called each other, and they still do it to this day.

Well, probably because of the fact that the hair was always the darkest in the class.

Well, really, without a beard back then, but that's how it has survived to this day.

The service began with me.

The military unit came in 2022, in March.

I left everything completely.

I worked as a private entrepreneur in the field of construction.

I liked the job very much.

It was a good job.

Unfortunately, I had to leave and go to do more important things.

As soon as I came from the military unit, I began to collect things.

My wife asked me where I was going.

I said I was in the army.

Of course, everyone was shocked.

Tears, crying.

Well, I say, what to do?

I say, just sit like that.

This is not mine.

You need to do some important things.

We went through various preparations in reserve boats.

And at the end of 1922,

The first combat experience we had was in 1922.

It wasn't that hard, but the more times, the more intense the shooting was, and the combat experience was gained both in terms of speed of work and in general in general.

We learned how to find new positions, how to dig, how to set up basements, how to survive.

In principle, the experience was different, from different nuances.

Someone was asked who had more combat experience, how better, how that, how that.

The Golden Cross was given to us after the support of our infantry for the village of Urozhaine.

When our guys were fighting in the assault, we were fighting meter by meter.

And we, as an artillery, really worked there without rest.

Moreover, it was summer, heat was impossible beyond 40 degrees.

It was just so hard.

But it's okay.

Our shooting began at 8 a.m. and somewhere around 8 p.m.

the intensity of the shooting did not stop.

And this is our reserve company, and then it was reinforced on assigned positions, and, accordingly, all our territories were repelled.

I received the Medal of Defense of Ukraine at the beginning of 25th year.

Well, I think that

All the soldiers who take part in the defense of the state and its integrity must receive it.

My role near the mortar is the number of service, the equipment of the mines, the supply of mines.

And near the mortar itself, let's say, as we call it, corn.

Helping the navigator to get there.

The coordinates are given to us, we start at the target point and, accordingly, we work on them.

Accordingly, there is the first shot at the shooting range for correction.

Correction was added or subtracted, and, accordingly, we are already working exactly on the target.

Let's say, the army without jokes, I don't know if it would exist at all.

It has its own specific jokes, but sometimes such that few people would understand in civilian life.

But for us, it's really a bit of humor to relax and feel like a normal person.

Well, but let's say,

It's a serious military joke, for example.

You don't always make a joke at home and someone will laugh.

On the contrary, they will look at you and think that you are inadequate, injured or something else.

Yes, everyone really likes to eat delicious food.

And when we come from a position, because, unfortunately, there is no such possibility there, then we come and immediately cook something delicious for ourselves, some kind of borscht, broth, well, anything.

To remind you of some kind of feeling at home, as if you are sitting at home at the table, in a family queue, you are having lunch, you are celebrating.

Of course, you need to protect.

We do this, we try to create our own corner of some kind of father's house somewhere there in the Donbass.

And we really fight for our home, because this is the biggest motivation for us, so that these feelings of home will always be present with us.

And it inspires.

And so we have to stand to the end, to victory.

I think everything will be fine.

We will definitely win.

Glory to Ukraine!

Glory to the heroes!

Speaker 12

Up ahead, a hot time for thousands of graduates and their families.

The 2020-2025 campaign has already started, and although the format of the national multi-subject test is already familiar, every year it brings new challenges and details, which are worth knowing in order not to lose your chance.

We will talk about all the key moments, typical mistakes, technical nuances and features of entering a higher education institution right now.

In our studio, Roman Lysenko,

Larysa, good evening to you.

Good evening.

Mr. Roman and Mrs. Larysa, first of all, thank you for joining our ETR.

What is the difference between this year's entry campaign and the previous one?

What are the main innovations or changes?

What should the entrants and their parents know?

I address this question to both of you, because Mrs. Larysa will answer from the point of view of the Director of the Regional Center for Evaluation and Education, and Mr. Roman

directly a person who works with all the speakers who come with their thousands of questions, what, where and how.

So, Ms. Larysa, the first answer is from you, please.

Speaker 3

Thank you for the question.

Well, the national multi-subject test is ongoing now, it will be continued on Saturday, and practically

First of all, what is necessary and what we have already seen in the few days that have been held.

Well, people are getting late.

This is bad.

This is not the reason for participating in additional sessions.

Now, in May, the National Multitask Test of Graduates of the past years is being passed.

And it is very sad that the turnout is 75-76%.

Twenty-five percent of participants who have registered for the main session do not appear.

For me, this is incomprehensible, because for each participant there is a place, a computer, people who serve, and so on, and so on.

From what we have seen, they are ending quickly.

Graduates of schools will work longer.

They have better knowledge, more.

And these, a little bit of something on the mind, a little bit somehow, well, hoping for their result.

Next, this year, unlike last year, the program will not close until the participant performs a few tasks from two subjects.

Because in the first half they perform Ukrainian and mathematics, then a 20-minute break, and history of Ukraine and a subject for choice.

So, you need to fill in the answers from two subjects, and then you can close the program.

After the first subject, they closed the program and did not use the opportunity to do mathematics or the fourth subject.

Speaker 12

This year it will not be.

Were there any special incidents?

Did you break the rules?

Did you try to photograph the task?

Did you carry phones with you?

Tell us, please.

Speaker 3

No, no.

Auditories investigate how participants work and how instructors work, people who work directly in our Lviv region, in our regional center.

Everyone on the screen has 8-9 auditors who just see everything that happens in these auditors.

In addition, there are several levels of verification.

including the person responsible for the testing, the auditorium, and the police officer, who again checks the documents, checks the presence of the second phone with the metal detector, some additional incomprehensible things.

All suspicious things, such as interesting, let's say, watchers, there are no earphones at all, some clips or some other...

beauties, they are collected and they are in place for personal things in order to create equal conditions, I emphasize once again, in order to create equal conditions for all participants, there is a challenge of knowledge, mind, skills to apply this mind

Speaker 12

Mr. Roman, about Lviv Polytechnic and how it is preparing for the entry of new students, new students.

Today Lviv Polytechnic has a new rector, Natalia Oshakhovska.

We have a story about it.

Has the algorithm of providing applications, priorities for the budget changed?

And in general, how do you prepare for all these applications, for a bunch of children who are lost?

I remember myself and my first course.

Well, it seems to me that I had a million questions and I didn't know who to address them to.

How does it all happen from your point of view?

Speaker 19

First of all, I wish all the participants of this year's NMT success at the test and we hope to see you at the Yuriy Polytechnic.

First of all, about the changes.

The NMT format has become more or less tired of us in recent years.

Teachers and students have already got used to it.

Graduates of schools.

The only thing is that this year the Ministry of Innovation has reformatted

weight coefficients of the objects, that is, how they influence the entry point of the competition.

In simple terms?

In simple terms, the entry point of the competition consists of the results of NMT multiplied by certain weight coefficients, and in total it gives the opportunity to get up to 200 points, from 100 to 200 points of the competition.

But this year there are three mandatory results.

As of last year, there is one additional subject, the fourth one, for selection.

But this subject is in each specialty, there is a subject, so-called, let's say, profile, with the largest weight coefficient.

Contestants who were guided by certain specialties, they obviously already got acquainted with the list of those four so-called subjects and chose the one that will have the greatest impact on the competition for them.

That is, it increases the chances of obtaining a budget or desired place in one or another specialty.

This is related to NMT.

In Ukraine, there is already a schedule of entering companies.

For a bachelor's degree, it is mainly the second half of July and the first half of August.

For a master's degree, it is this year, August.

but I highly advise both parents and speakers to get acquainted with the terms of the introduction campaign, because I absolutely agree with Mrs. Larysa Serediak that these terms are quite harsh.

Speaker 12

What date are you going to announce it on our air?

Speaker 19

You can register electronic offices from the 1st of July.

You can register for the creative competitions for the specialties where it is provided.

You can register from the 3rd to the 10th of July for the budget places.

And you can register until the 18th of July for the commercial ones.

And then there is such a small pause, the holding of creative contests for those who submit.

And then, from July 19 to August 1, in electronic offices, applicants must submit electronic applications for admission.

How does it happen?

The entrance student, in his registered electronic office, selects the area, the educational institution, the specialty, the base of the entrance, because there are entrance students after colleges, there are entrance students after schools, lyceums, etc.

in the field of general and secondary education.

And then these applications are processed at the university.

This is where our kitchen begins.

These applications work at the university, all the motivational letters are carefully read, which are the add-ons to the applications for admission.

This is just a copied text with an outline of why he chose this or that university, this or that.

Speaker 12

Now, at every faculty, because in my time there were no such motivational letters, now at every faculty you have to outline why you want to become, for example, a journalist.

Speaker 19

That's right.

There are requirements for the motivation letter.

I know that each university has its own requirements.

But, basically, they are related to the fact that it is necessary to correctly express the idea.

Speaker 12

What does it influence?

As far as I understand, the university does not give points for the motivation letter.

Speaker 19

The Lithuanian Polytechnic does not give points for the motivation letter, but it is carefully reviewed by the Commission on the subject

plagiarism, whether it is not written down from the Internet in open sources, whether it is correct.

Speaker 12

Did it help you to write down this text?

Speaker 19

Well, it will be difficult to check, of course, but there are already tools, in particular, Grammarly, which is in the corporate account of Lviv Polytechnic, and we can check it, for example, the subject of AI assistance.

And the motivational letter should have a address,

to write the name of the head, the leaders in our case.

It should have an outline of why exactly the university and why that speciality, where the entrance is, is important for it.

There are requirements to submit this letter, which are part of the reception rules and are already published on the university website.

You are right, a motivational letter does not give points, but it is quite good.

Speaker 12

It forms an impression about a person.

Speaker 19

Absolutely right.

And then we work out all the statements regarding their requirements for motivational letters, the correctness of their presentation, and the accuracy of the competition points of the applicants for certain specialties.

And then we allow these statements to the competition.

It will all stop on August 1st.

And we will be waiting for the so-called procedures of the address placement of the state order, which will end on August 6th.

And the participants in their electronic offices on August 6th, before lunch, will receive a recommendation for training at the expense of the state budget.

Speaker 12

So, the investors get that they applied for the budget before the 6th of August.

Speaker 19

Yes, absolutely right.

There are five applications that the investor wants to apply for the budget this year.

So, five priorities can be set in the applications for the budget.

A very important feature of the know-how of this entry-level campaign is the fact that entrants can apply for a contract with a priority.

Previously, this was not the case.

In fact, applications for a contract with a priority, well, and budget applications, so to speak, which were with a priority, but did not receive a recommendation for a budget anywhere,

Accordingly, there are such cases.

From August 6 to August 11, through electronic offices, applicants receive a commercial recommendation in such applications, where they will in the future claim the so-called grant provided by the Ministry for partial compensation of the value of training on the contract.

We do not know the amount of grants yet, but in the project that has been announced by the leadership of the EU, it is about 20,000 to 40,000 hryvnias per year.

Speaker 12

Per year is the compensation for education.

Speaker 19

Yes.

This is the peculiarity of this entry-level company.

Speaker 12

Mrs. Larysa, you know, I've been listening to the introduction campaign and I'm glad that I still have a little child.

Tell me, please, what should parents know, what should students know?

How many faculties can be given this year?

What are the typical mistakes that should not be allowed?

Let's explain, because it seems to me that for parents of 11-year-olds, for 11-year-olds, this is just a separate life now, this whole introduction campaign.

Speaker 3

All those who have registered to participate in the main session have an invitation, and today it is necessary to print or photograph these invitations in order to know where to go to pass the national multiparticle test.

Of course, you need to know how long it takes to get to one or another testing point, because they are scattered throughout the whole city of Lviv and, again, in the Lviv region.

Then, well, knowing that a person is going to give up and almost half of the rooms we have are covered, people should know that they should be warmly dressed, warmly dressed, and if it's too hot, take off the sweater, and not come in a T-shirt and brush your teeth, because that's what we saw, let's say.

But, or then, well, accordingly, dress accordingly.

the situation of nature that is around us.

You can take some water with you, because everyone will write for 4 hours and have 20 minutes of break, 2 hours of writing, 20 minutes of break, and then 2 hours.

You can take whatever you like, a sandwich, a waffle, a chocolate, so that during the break, or everyone leaves the audience, has a place for a break, you can drink some water or support yourself.

This should be known to both students and parents.

Next, everyone should know that after the testing is completed, they will receive the points that they will need to write down so that when they come home or leave the testing site, when they come to the Ministry of Education website, they can see how these points are translated into a 200-point scale, which will need to be submitted immediately, well, not immediately, but on the first of July, when the offices will be created,

for access to higher education institutions, this is what children and parents should know directly by taking a national multi-faceted test, and then those higher education institutions where participants are going to enter, it is necessary to read their rules, all the rules are posted on the site,

And I am very surprised, for example, I understand that there are such phone calls to the reception committees, when people do not read anything or call and say, you tell us.

There are thousands of graduates,

We have only 24,000 participants in the Lviv region, and we cannot tell anyone about the rules of the national multi-subject test.

They are all on the website, all adults, and even more about the rules of admission to higher education.

And what Mr. Roman said, indeed, it is...

Five state, all will submit documents, will have the opportunity, five state schools of education, choosing priorities, and here is the news that there are priorities for the commercial form of education this year.

Speaker 12

Thank you, Mrs. Larysa, for this conversation.

Speaker 3

Let me emphasize that this year there are certificates from 2022, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 for application to higher education institutions.

But it is important that in 2022 and 2023 there were only three entrance exams.

national multi-subject test, and this year there are four, then people should know that for the 22nd and 23rd year certificates are given to higher education institutions of the fourth level of accreditation, where there are creative competitions, or to colleges.

Speaker 12

Thank you, Mrs. Larysa.

Larysa Syrydiak, director of the Lviv Regional Center for Evaluation of Quality of Education, was with us in this part of the main day.

We will return to the conversation in the studio.

I remind you that in our studio is Roman Shulyak, responsible secretary of the Lviv Polytechnic Commission.

Mr. Roman.

I have a question for you.

Are there any benefits for the children of the servicemen, for the children of our dead defenders, for the children of temporarily displaced persons?

What are the benefits at the entrance?

Speaker 19

The most protected, I would say, by the state category is really the children of the dead heroes.

They, with the successful establishment of the NMT, this is the only condition, successfully established NMT, are included in the budget immediately during the entry campaign.

That is, there is a procedure that provides temporary accounting for the contract, and before the beginning of the training of this contract, the candidate is transferred to a budget place.

Other categories of candidates.

Children of the heroes who fight on the front and have the dedication of the participants of the hostilities, most of them themselves enter the budget, because they have good competitive points, well-placed NMT.

But the part that, unfortunately, chose very popular specialties, where it could not fight for a budget place, means that this part of children also has the right to transfer to a budget before the beginning of education, but on competition grounds and not only on free, so-called vacant places.

And gradually there is such a tendency that children, participants in hostilities,

receive benefits during the study period.

That is, the state and the university realize their rights during the study period.

The transfer to vacant places that are released during the study period or, this year it was added, such an option from the Ministry of Veterans is a state option.

This help is 100% able to compensate the cost of the training.

This option appeared not so long ago, in the spring, and the applicants who received the opportunity to study at the contract in 2024 will be compensated for the value of the contract this year.

They also claim a 100% compensation for the cost of education.

But for this, it is necessary to register your, so to speak, benefit, especially the entrance fee, in the period from 3 July to 1 August.

This can be done in any receiving commission of any institution.

I emphasize that for this, the mother or father must have a certificate of participation in the hostilities.

Speaker 12

You talked about the most popular specialties.

I would like to clarify which specialties are now, so that they do not differ from those that we were called in these studios last year.

Where do the beginners want to enter the most?

And where, in your opinion, in which specialties, in your opinion, it is worth paying attention to, that they are really interesting, but perhaps less popular among young people now?

Speaker 19

Well, I'll start with the second part of your question.

In the rules of the reception, there is such an addition of seven, where the specialties are considered a special support from the side of the state.

Basically, these are engineering and technical specialties.

I will not name them all, there are a lot of them.

I would like to emphasize that it is these specialties that the state allocates the most budget places in the so-called wide contests.

Even the fact is that there are simply no contractors in those specialties, because absolutely everyone gets budget places.

There are such cases.

Now, the second or the first part of your question, most of them, you know, they are called, sometimes, nocturnal specialties.

I won't name the number of applications that appeared last year, but as far as I remember, it's psychology, law, management, economic specialties, IT.

But IT is related to, let's say, the conjucting specialties emerging from the labor market.

But it is related to engineering.

After all, these are specialties of software engineering, computer science, cybersecurity and others.

But these specialties receive very large amounts of budget places from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Therefore, almost all applicants receive budget places.

I would say that applicants receive budget places there and get the most competitive points.

They have the best NMT education.

Speaker 12

Psychology, I'm surprised, there is such a great interest in psychology now, right?

Speaker 19

Yes, you know, last year we held an international accreditation in the University, an international agency of our psychological specialty at the master level, and experts asked us what is the social effect of this specialty.

I would say that the most successful answer would be our observation that most often military service personnel bring their children to this specialization.

Military service personnel, combat participants who took part in the defense of Ukraine.

Obviously, they have a certain conviction that their children will be able to help their relatives with their specialization.

Speaker 12

Well, let me finish by asking about my future colleagues.

A lot of them are joining journalism now.

Speaker 19

I didn't overestimate, but it is also a very popular profession with the least support in terms of state positions.

Speaker 12

The least state position, but one of the most popular professions.

I thank you for this conversation, thank you for the explanation.

We talked with Roman Shulyarym, the responsible secretary of the reception commission of the Lviv Polytechnic.

and support everyone.

Such words were said in the first speech of Natalia Shakhovskaya as rector of the Lviv Polytechnic.

Today, the professor, doctor of technical sciences, founder of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, took the oath.

Thus, she officially became the first rector of the Lviv Polytechnic.

Speaker 15

I took oath with all my thoughts, efforts and deeds to support the people of Lviv.

These are the first words of the rector of the Lviv Polytechnic, Natalia Shakhovska, on the job.

There are big plans and changes ahead.

Speaker 6

In the first place, this is an analysis, an audit of what is in the Lviv Polytechnic.

Then, without a doubt, this is the support of infrastructure, improved infrastructure.

Because without infrastructure, it is impossible to change, it is impossible to function well in science and teach students.

This is the opening of new educational programs.

that are needed for the development of our country and the direct reconstruction, and the direct support of science.

Speaker 15

The university students congratulate the new rector.

They say they expect their alma mater to develop at a global level.

Speaker 1

Natalia Bohdanivna was the director of my institute, and in general, her work at the Institute in the Department of Artificial Intelligence

One of the coolest in the field of polytechnics, in my opinion.

And I expect that the field of polytechnics under the leadership of Natalia Bogdanovna will grow.

Speaker 13

In the future, I expect improvement in the general training program, because many approaches are outdated.

Therefore, I hope that the new rector will influence this.

Speaker 14

From the program, I expect that it will be gradually, maybe a little slower, a little faster, a little better, a little less better, but to be implemented.

Because there are good requests for changes, for innovations.

Speaker 15

We listened to the oath and speech of the first rector of Lviv Polytechnic not only scientists and employees of the university, but also officials are also waiting for changes in the life of the university.

Speaker 21

This is a person who grew up in the walls of the university.

This is a person with world-famous research, which is quoted by the whole world community.

And this is a very cool step for the university and its possibilities.

I hope that there will really be significant changes in the university.

Speaker 28

From the first day I listened to her program, and this program impresses me, because it combines stability and innovation.

Ms. Natalia said a lot about the fact that we have to do scientific diplomacy in the world, promote our scientific schools, and that it is very important to make sure that our students do not go abroad.

Speaker 15

Natalia Shakhovska will be the rector of the university for five years.

Speaker 12

This is a sum that will save the life of Marko Hladysh.

The boy has a rare disease of muscle dystrophy.

The muscles gradually weaken, and this can lead to a complete ability to move, and then to death.

Only an injection in the United Arab Emirates, which costs 126 million hryvnias, can stop the progression of this disease and give Mark a chance to have a happy childhood and life.

Speaker 15

This is Mark Hladysh.

He is only three years old, but he already knows how to fight for his life.

In autumn last year, doctors diagnosed the boy with a terrible diagnosis – muscle dystrophy.

And the parents, Anastasia and Roman, noticed signs of illness even when the son was nine months old.

Speaker 8

At first, we noticed that our child didn't sit for 9 months.

It was the first call that something was wrong with the child.

He didn't sit for 10 months, and it was our first rehabilitation.

And we did a massage and prescribed him a syrup to stimulate the muscles, so that he would sit faster.

And it all gave a positive result, because somewhere at the end of the 11th month he already sat for us.

Speaker 15

However, after a year and a half, the parents notice that the son is not sitting on his own again, so they begin to beat him.

They gave tests abroad and in Ukraine.

After the genetic test, the doctors established muscle dystrophy of Dushan.

Speaker 8

We found out that this disease is non-medical and deadly.

For us, it was a shock.

Later, we found doctors, gave additional tests in Germany, because we could not believe that our child had such a diagnosis.

Speaker 15

Muscle dystrophy is a rare genetic disease.

It occurs only in boys.

The disease progresses, with time the muscles weaken.

This can lead to a complete loss of ability to move, and later to death.

Speaker 29

The disease that arises

When there is a defect in the dystrophin gene, it is a gene that contains 79 exons, and any mutation in this gene can provoke the fact that a protein, a protein called dystrophin, does not perform its function, but it is part of the myocytes.

You build a house, but there is no connection between the bricks.

And it causes, first of all, this muscle weakness.

And considering that muscle cells are not only muscles, but also heart muscles, respiratory muscles, it all leads during the process to disability.

Speaker 15

Anastasia and Roman immediately took up treatment for their son.

In addition to constant visits to doctors, Mark goes to rehabilitation.

Not to teach the new, but to preserve what is.

This is the task of the tasks that the boy does every day.

This is a massage for the legs, gymnastics for coordination.

Speaker 4

Go to the space rocket, go to the space rocket.

Speaker 5

How are you, Mark, in the car?

Klasno.

Klasno.

A tapar postaraj za to pati tinki po bilii liniji.

Bachiš?

Ots tak.

Molodec.

Speaker 15

And, of course, swimming.

Mark loves this activity so much that he can't wait for his coach.

Despite the incredible joy from the process, starting with undressing and completing various tasks in the pool, it is still very useful.

After all, children who are sick with muscle dystrophy do not feel the weight of the body in the water and do not feel pain in the movements.

And, of course, swimming strengthens the muscles.

Speaker 30

Wow, that's a lot.

Speaker 15

In his free time, Mark likes to ride a bicycle, but not on an ordinary one.

His father, Roman Hladysh, is a professional cyclist, so he came up with a special way for his son.

Mark's small bicycle is attached to his own, so that his son does not have too much load on his muscles.

Speaker 10

I pull it, and he does it with less effort.

He can go with me and not make such great efforts as if he had to do it himself.

Speaker 15

However, it is already difficult for the boy to climb the stairs on his own, to run fast, and, unfortunately, the disease is progressing.

Therefore, in order to save a life of a always smiling and cheerful Mark, 3 million dollars are needed.

There is treatment, it is gene therapy.

Doctors replace the healthy gene with a defective one, and thus stop the development of the disease.

In Ukraine, treatments that give a chance for a full life are not carried out, only abroad.

The Elvides injection in the United Arab Emirates will be a rescue for the boy.

However, the amount, and this is 126 million hryvnias, is not enough for the family.

Speaker 10

I would like to ask everyone who has such an opportunity to help my family, to save my son.

I would be very grateful to everyone for the help, for any amount that is strong for anyone, whether it will be 10 hryvnias, 20, 30, 100, 1000.

For us, every hryvnia has a meaning.

I would be very grateful to everyone who can help us.

Speaker 15

And we can help Mark, all of us, by transferring the funds to the charity fund Mark Zhyvy or for the props.

Speaker 2

Requests for help.

Private Bank Card.

4149, 4993, 9673, 8112.

Monobank Card.

4441, 1110, 2182, 1990.

Speaker 15

In our power to give Mark a chance to live without limits, to run freely, to jump in a slump.

This is what makes childhood happy.

Let's give him a boy so that such a sincere smile never comes off his face.

Speaker 12

A small Lvivian Marko Hladych is struggling with a rare and extremely aggressive disease, muscle dystrophy.

Just now we showed a story about a boy, about his family.

The only chance to stop the progression is an injection worth almost $ 3 million.

The family has already started the collection, but the time is running out, and the disease is not waiting.

Marko is only 3 years old, and every day without treatment takes away his strength.

Today we bring to our broadcast the parents of Mark Hladysh.

We will ask in more detail about the condition of the boy, we will ask about the boy himself, how he feels now, and we will also emphasize how much it is necessary for each of us to help this family and help little Mark to live and develop.

Speaker 7

I greet you.

Speaker 12

Good evening.

Good evening.

Greetings to all of you.

Hello, Mark.

Hello, honey.

Tell me, please, how are you feeling today?

Marko, I know that you went to Bohmadit today to talk to the doctors.

What do the doctors say?

Tell me, please.

Speaker 7

At this time, we went to Ukhmaty to become a member of the state clinic, because in this way we will be able to receive free access twice a year, we will be able to give tests and conduct certain studies that are mandatory for our son.

Well, at the moment, the doctors said that there are no major health deteriorations, but, unfortunately, the indicators, compared to December, have increased, that is, they have gone to the worse side.

And this is a sign that the muscles, unfortunately, are being destroyed.

And we also need to collect the money.

Speaker 12

Mrs. Anastasiya, you know, we, Ukrainians, have already said once that we can collect such a large amount, and I am sure that this time we will also bring it.

I am sure that, Marchuk, you will come to me in the studio, sit on this chair, and we will talk to you about how you dealt with this disease.

Tell me, please, how are you feeling, how do you feel?

How do you feel?

Speaker 7

How do you feel?

Speaker 12

How?

How?

The main thing is that you are smiling.

This is, I think, the most important thing.

Mr. Roman, please tell us how the March days are going, how the collection of funds is going.

Let's point out where each of us can donate.

And why is it so important that now everyone who is watching our program, who will be watching the recording of this program, just every hryvnia can really save the situation, because there are no small donations, but we can all actually do a great job.

Speaker 9

Right now, March, every day, as before, we are going through a constant rehabilitation course.

We have just finished the rehabilitation course.

Also, we try to do it at home every day.

Stretching is our obligatory ritual in the morning and evening, or at least once a day.

We ask everyone to help Mark as much as possible in his fight for life.

Now we can even say that we have opened our charity fund Mark Zhyvy, where we can receive help from

Businesses, legal people who have a desire to collect money, as well as all the requisites of popular banks in Ukraine, Monobank and Privatbank, on which money is collected.

Speaker 12

We are now showing the props on our screens, in which we encourage everyone to help.

Ms. Anastasiya, tell us, please, how much time do we all have to collect such a large amount of money?

Why is this order so expensive?

Why do they do it only in the United Arab Emirates?

And how much money have you already managed to collect?

Speaker 7

Today, this injection was made by the United States.

Unfortunately, the price of this injection is $3.2 million.

That is, it is more than half a million dollars more than the United States.

And to this day, unfortunately, no European countries have this injection yet.

We are keeping our fingers crossed, and of course, if it appears in Europe, we will try to go there and make this injection.

But at the moment, there is no such possibility, so we are collecting...

Because it needs to be done as soon as possible.

The doctor in Emirates told us that this injection needs to be done from 4 years old and as soon as possible.

Why so?

Because with our disease, the muscles die out.

And this means that at the moment of injection, those muscles that are already poisoned, they will not be able to return.

This injection is...

there is no miracle stick, it will only stop the disease at the stage at which we will do this injection.

So the sooner we can do it, the more chances that the child will live a healthy life.

Of course, rehabilitation will be an integral part of our lives and in the future, but at least his muscles will be able to recover after any physical load, and not die.

Speaker 12

Marchuk, honey, tell me, please, when is your birthday?

When are you four years old?

Speaker 7

Already five.

When is your birthday?

On the 17th of February we celebrate our birthday.

Speaker 12

We have time until the 17th of February, so you can go and make a great gift.

Each of us can join this gift, so I urge everyone to help this family.

Anastasia, you now have the opportunity to turn to our viewers.

I am sure that you, as a mother, definitely have something to say.

Speaker 7

I would like to ask everyone to help save this wonderful sun.

Because I believe that every child has the right to live.

Not just any child, but all children have the right to live.

And I believe that our Mark will be able to live a completely healthy life.

And all children with different diagnoses.

Because I am sure that our Ukrainian nation, it...

Very generous and very good.

I believe that we will be able to save more and more children.

Thank you.

Speaker 12

Thank you for the conversation.

I sincerely wish for compensation, I sincerely wish to collect this amount of money.

I am sure that we will meet with you more than once in our ETRs, where we will announce and all together we will do this great good deed.

Mark, special greetings to you from the First West.

Thank you.

Roman Hladysh and Anastasia Hladysh and Marc Hladysh were with us in this part of the main task.

And that's all for today in our team.

Thank you for spending this Thursday evening with us.

Take care of yourself and remember that small things do big things.

And each of us today can definitely help at least Marchuk so that he lives and develops fully.

Take care of yourself and be conscious.
