Russian attacks on Ukraine kill at least 10 and injure dozens

Overnight Russian strikes killed at least 10 people across Ukraine, seven of whom were in the capital Kyiv, local officials have said.

Emergency crews worked to rescue people believed to be trapped beneath the rubble of a collapsed apartment building in Kyiv.

The city's mayor Vitaly Klitschko told reporters at the scene that he hoped the death toll would not climb any higher.
