Sang-e-Mah is the second part of a trilogy that began with the acclaimed drama Sang-e-Mar-Mar. Directed by Saife Hassan and written by Mustafa Afridi, the series tackles the harrowing tradition of 'gagh', a Pashto custom that forces women into marriage through violence. The story follows a father and son as they confront this injustice, weaving themes of love, retribution, and the oppression of women in rural Pakistan. The cast includes Nauman Ijaz, Samiya Mumtaz, Sania Saeed, Omair Rana, Hania Aamir, Kubra Khan, Zaviyar Ejaz, Hasan Noman, Najiba Faiz, and the legendary Atif Aslam, who makes his acting debut.
