Description:

The main character is a farmer named Radašin, who tells the story of his family, the time and the village where he lives, and the fellow villagers with whom he spends his days. He spends time with Dragojla, Zota, Milasin and his son Dragan. Radašin's family, whose fate he loves to talk about and think about, consists of his wife Radojka, son Radoslav, a Swedish-born Ingrid, grandson Tomas, daughter Milona with son‑in‑law Radenko, and grandchildren Milica and Milutin. The setting is the fictional village of Petlovac on the Morava, between Kruševac and Trstenik.
