Shine, burn, my star (tragicomedy, directed by Alexander Mitta, 1969)

The film takes place in the 1920s. The young actor Vladimir Iskremas, an enthusiast and romantic, comes to a provincial town with the goal of introducing its residents to Blok and Shakespeare. The city changes hands: the Reds are being squeezed by the Whites, the Whites are being pushed by the Greens, and Iskremas finds himself in the center of these events.
