The show had been stuck in a sort of streaming limbo when rights to the show expired at HBO Max, but have not yet been picked up anywhere else. Paramount+ was the most logical place, but the impending merger between Paramount and Skydance put a hold on a lot of new dealmaking. With only a handful of episodes and on-off specials airing over the past two years, fans have been clamoring for a full new season, and now that Stone and Parker have signed a $1.5 billion deal, the fans will be getting what they want.
