Splatoon 3 Online "Gameplay" #170: The Big Version 10.0 Update!

As of Version 10.0, Splatoon as a whole is preparing for its next era. Within Splatoon 3 itself, over a year after its Grand Festival and several additional Splatfests after it, the game has gained one of its biggest updates ever in Sizzle Season 2025! The game finally got its third generation of weapons, this time called the Splatlands Collection! This comes with 30 remixed variations of weapons that you can buy! See how their Sub and Special Weapons work together with them this time! Another big addition is a new stage... which is not only actually an older stage from an older game... but THE oldest stage in the entirety of Splatoon: *Urchin Underpass is finally back!* ---- All of this is in relation to everything else surrounding this game. It has now been updated for use on the Nintendo Switch 2, which makes the game run smoother in the hubs. In other words, upgrade the hubs' framerate from 30FPS to 60FPS, just like the game's Single Player modes and Multiplayer matches. Lastly, this was also to announce a new Splatoon game exclusively for the Switch 2: Its very first spinoff where Deep Cut FINALLY gets to be the player's leaders, rather than Squid Sisters in every Hero Mode or Off the Hook in the DLC campaigns. It's called Splatoon Raiders! Surely, this makes up for their Team Future losing in the Grand Festival! ---------- As of this post, I have yet to actually have a Switch 2 of my own, but keeping up with the Splatoon series for my channel would be one the biggest reasons I'd get one (prices be damned). I admit that this series is the biggest case of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) that I have with covering stuff on my channel, and this series is preparing for its next step with the Switch 2. Let's see what happens with that, but for now, the next Splatfest themed after vehicle transportation is coming next week from this point!
