Respawn Studios doesn't quite seem to understand what a "soulslayer" is. The first time around, it caused us to suffer with its controversial combat system, monotonous environment and low pacing. And in the sequel, it would seem that the developers have successfully corrected all of these flaws... but only because they now have a far more inhuman way of making us suffer.
