Suspect who ‘ambushed’ 2 Pennsylvania state troopers identified after being shot and killed

Carmine Faino, 61, was shot and killed by a police special response team Thursday after allegedly ambushing two Pennsylvania state troopers and killing a woman in Susquehanna County. The incident began when troopers responded to reports of a shooting and were met with gunfire from a distance. Troopers Joseph Perechinsky and William Jenkins were both injured but survived; Perechinsky managed to apply tourniquets to Jenkins’ arms. An EMT was also hurt when the suspect fired on his vehicle, Fox News has reported.
