Taliban Intervened in the Camera! I’m Telling the Truth About Afghanistan

In this episode, I walk through the streets of Meymana in northern Afghanistan, talking to Turkmens, Uzbeks, and local people while exploring the markets. I show the real face of this city—daily life, people’s struggle to survive, and the products sold in the bazaars. But in the middle of the journey, something unexpected happens: the Taliban intervene in my camera, telling me not to film and interrogating me for several minutes with passport checks and questions. The moment turns from an ordinary trip into real tension. Still, the warmth of the people, the friendliness of the shopkeepers, and my conversations with Turkish‑speaking Afghans shift the atmosphere of the day, revealing the economic life, culture, and daily struggle of the city.
