The Diamond Arm (4K, comedy, dir. Leonid Gaidai, 1968)

The film's restoration was completed by specialists from the Mosfilm Film Concern's Telecinema and Computer Graphics division. This eccentric detective comedy follows the story of a humble employee, Semyon Semyonovich Gorbunkov, who, while on a tourist trip abroad, finds himself caught in the middle of a smuggling operation. He's mistaken for a contact, and jewelry is encased in a plaster cast on his arm to be smuggled across the border. Ultimately, the hero helps the police solve the crime.
