The Legend of Valkyrie: Round 7

Description:

Here’s a level where platforming really matters: you must jump over many ice floes, and remember that Valkyrie and Sandra cannot swim in deep water. A side path among the floes leads to Babasama, who teaches the Flyingsky spell that allows you to fly for a few seconds by mashing the Jump button, but it can only be used once. On a larger icy land you encounter the boss, the Sphinmoth, a giant sphinx‑like mammoth, which offers two challenges: a Physical Test involving fighting monsters while surrounded by four fairies, or a Brain Test that requires solving a 15‑piece slide puzzle. Completing either challenge ends Round 7, while choosing to give up sends you back to the start. I chose the Physical Test and succeeded. Later, Valkyrie and Sandra used their sacred mark to open the aurora veil and seal the North Spring, but were then sucked into an area where the water had turned black, as Kamooz used the North Spring to rot the world. The final battle against him is imminent.
