In this segment I hitchhike to the city of Kunduz in northern Afghanistan. I get into vehicles passing through different villages and travel for hours on roads under the shadow of war. On arrival in Kunduz I meet a Turkmen friend. Together we explore the markets and streets of the city. At the market life goes on despite all the hardships; people trade, children play in the streets. At the end of the day we pick up our bags and set off to find a place to stay. A Turkish friend invites us to his home. But by evening everything changes. The Taliban come to the home. And this time what took place is not just a journey but a fight for survival.
