The Weak Nuclear Interaction: The Most Astonishing “Force” in the Universe

You have probably already heard that all processes in the Universe can be reduced to the effects of the four fundamental interactions: the gravitational interaction, the electromagnetic interaction, the strong nuclear interaction, and the weak nuclear interaction. And while the first three are more or less straightforward to understand, explaining in just a few words what exactly the weak nuclear interaction is — and why we even call it an interaction — is not so easy. In today’s video, we will try to figure out what the weak nuclear interaction really is, what interacts with what, and what comes out of it all — as well as why our Universe could not exist in the form we know without it!
