This is the second of three videos depicting lab-scale perovskite solar cell fabrication and characterization at the University of Washington. We introduce thermal evaporation, a versatile deposition technique used to fabricate thin films of metals, metal oxides, and organic semiconductors. Then, we deposit silver onto perovskite thin films using a thermal evaporator housed at the University of Washington's Research Training Testbed (RTT).
