Twenty killed in ‘crowd surge’ at Gaza aid site, GHF aid group says

Twenty people trying to get food were killed amid a chaotic surge at an aid distribution centre in southern Gaza, according to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. Nineteen were trampled to death and one was stabbed. The GHF said the surge was driven by agitators affiliated with Hamas. Nasser Hospital reported receiving bodies of 10 people who died of suffocation after the site was closed by GHF's private security contractors.
