Description:

I decided to make a pizza without dough, using a thin layer of meat as the base. I ground 500 g of beef, seasoned it with salt, pepper, paprika, olive oil, and let it rest for 30–60 minutes. While the meat rested, I prepared a sauce by sautéing garlic in olive oil, adding crushed peeled tomatoes, Italian herbs, salt, pepper, and a touch of sugar, and simmering until thickened. I then pressed the seasoned meat into a pan, cooking it for 5–7 minutes on each side, and topped it with the sauce, thin ham slices, shredded suluguni cheese, pepperoni, cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella balls. The assembled pizza was baked at 200 °C for 10–20 minutes until the cheese melted. The result is a flavorful, dough‑free pizza that pairs well with a glass of dry red or white wine.
