What did I catch in the forest and cook over the fire?

I am back in touch and my 7‑day hike in the forest continues. Day 4 was eventful and full of real challenges. I started the day with active work around the dugout, arranging my forest home. Luck smiled on me—I caught an excellent perch on live bait, a good catch that will come in handy for fish soup another time. To gain strength, I decided to cook a real tourist pilaf from stewed meat and other ingredients right on the fire, following all the rules; it was very tasty and filling. The most interesting and unexpected thing happened at night: I was caught in heavy rain and my tent ended up underwater. All these adventures are impossible to imagine without my faithful assistant, who showed himself from a new side—meet Carlos the Excavator, who proved what he is capable of in the most unexpected situations.
