What it is Like to Rent Rooms at Amsterdam Red Light District

In part three of our series on the Amsterdam Red Light District, we visit Agapi, the nicest window rental company in this area. Agapi is run by Devenando and Barry, two guys who have nothing to do with pimps and other shady things. They really get along well with the sex workers they rent rooms to: sometimes they organize a barbecue together, and once they visited a canal boat where you can order pancakes. The Red Light District in Amsterdam has a notorious reputation. In our series ‘Achter de wallen’ we follow people who work in this area every day, to see what it is like from their perspective.
