A John Carpenter game lets you win the million dollars in any Who Wants to Be a Millionaire video game without using a single lifeline. The UK 2nd Edition Nintendo DS, released in 2008 as the follow‑up to the 1st Edition, is the last Nintendo‑exclusive Millionaire game. Unlike the 1st Edition DS, it is the only Millionaire game to use the 12‑question format that was used on the actual show, and it is the second overall to do so, the first being the 10th Anniversary DVD game. No contestant ever won the top prize on the UK show with the 12‑question format; the best result was 150,000. Unlike the Nintendo Wii port, the DS version includes video clips for both correct and incorrect answers.
